Thanasis is located in Faros (Lakka), Paxos. This semi-detached
vacation rental property offers air-conditioning and sleeps up to 4
people with 1 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms. There is a private pool with

areas including a double sofa-bed. Lower ground floor: Master double

Spectacular views over the bay and village!

The position of Thanasis is wonderful. We spent many hours just watching the boats come and go in the harbour. The swimming pool is exclusively for this villa and was lovely and the upstairs living quarters are bright and airy. There are quite a few stairs to navigate going down to the bedroom and bathrooms and care is needed. Possibly the bathrooms could do with a revamp but were perfectly usable and hot water never a problem. The owner of the villa, Thanasis, was available to call at all times and was very helpful and responsive particularly when we needed some medical assistance after one of us had a fall on a nearby stony track. From then on it meant we had to use taxis to get to and from Lakka. The road down to the village is walkable in daylight hours, around 25 minutes, but not recommended when dark. Whilst there is a rough cliff top path down to Harami Beach, and then on to the village, care needed to be taken in certain parts. We found the supermarket delivery service to be very useful!

A Pool with a View!

Lovely spacious accommodation (we were just 2 people). Bedroom is on the lower floor making it cooler, together with the (two!) bathrooms. Good water pressure in the showers, quiet air con, efficient wifi. Location is lovely. There's a little rugged footpath next to the property which takes you down to the beach by the Harami bar (excellent food), from where you can walk along the waterfront to town - a pretty walk but does require flat shoes and a bit of scrambling. You will need to arrive with your luggage by vehicle as the road to the property is too rough to wheel cases along. Pool is lovely - mostly very shallow with a small deep area at one end. Infinity edge is a little sharp to rest your arms on, but resting there to admire the view is a must! Delightful, very cheerful and entertaining host who also has a business in the town.

Fabulous holiday once we got here! Villa is very easy and we spent most of the day here, lying on sun beds reading, drinking local beer and swimming in the pool. The views are sensational. The little goat track next to the villa is a little daunting but it is navigable and after a couple of days we were going down to the beach for an early swim then back up for the rest of the day and then down to the town at night on foot getting a taxi back after dinner. We didna€™t have a car and we were happy not to drive on the crazy roads! MyPaxosdriver.com is brilliant if you book the day before. Alexandra the host is a whirlwind and super helpful. She even took us grocery shopping on our first day to get us set up. Highly recommend Paximadi restaurant and Alessandros next door. Akis bar is fantastic food but a bit upmarket for us - we like rustic Greek food. Overall the holiday was what we wanted rest, relaxation, sun and good food. Highly recommend

We have already recommended it to our family who are looking to come next year! The food in lakka is amazing and if you want to go off exploring there is plenty to do! Best holiday ever and well use Agni Travel every year. There is a nice space outside to relax and eat dinner and enjoy the pool during the day. The villa offered a beautiful pool with nice sea views and excellent outdoor space. We liked the morning and evening cool sea breeze while having our daily meals at the terrace. We will miss all that feeling and enjoyment. We are definitely coming back to this heaven.

What a fab time, we had a perfect villa and even more perfect sea views. The villa had absolutely everything we needed and was very clean. Likewise, the outside areas were well maintained and the pool very clean. The views from the terrace over the bay were amazing and we enjoyed the cool sea breeze while having dinner at the terrace. We had meals in most of the tavernas in Lakka and Loggos, we would recommend you to go there and taste the most delicious local specialties. Lastly, thank you Agni Travel for organizing a perfect holiday. We cannot thank you enough, everything went to plan. No problems with the villa or pool, everything was excellent. Could not fault Agni Travel at all, everything went smoothly and we appreciated the text messages and keeping in contact with us during our stay there.

If you are looking for sea views, sun, blue skies, and time for yourself, Villa Thanasis is where you need to be. The villa has everything you need. Properly cleaned with all the amenities in place. The pool and the terrace were fabulous. We enjoyed memorable sunsets while swimming in the pool with a glass of wine. Kids also loved the pool and played there all day long. We visited Gaios and Loggos a couple of times. There are nice places with lots of restaurants and tasty local specialties. We warmly recommend Villa Thanasis.

Wowww...Perfect villa and even perfect sea views! We have visited many different villas in Paxos over the past 10 years but the Villa Thanasis is definitely one of the best. We have already re-booked for July and September next year. Great location too...there are several restaurants, tavernas, and bars nearby (just a 5-10 min walk). Most of our time we enjoyed ourselves at Kanoni and Paralia Lakka Beach which are nearby and didnt need to drive to other places to find a good beach for our kids. Location is also perfect for alternating days by exploring different beaches and places and having relaxing days at the villa....You need only a 10-minute drive to both Loggos and Gaios where you can find a wide selection of beaches, bars, cafes restaurants, and shops. Great holiday at Villa Thanasis. Do not hesitate to book this place and villa. Would highly recommend it to everybody (couples, families, retirees...)

Villa Thanasis is one of our special places to stay. We love the location, on the Cape Lakka, with views overlooking Lakka harbour - beautiful and interesting in any weather or any time of day. We spent a lot of time just looking and drinking in the view. The walk down the donkey track to the Harami beach was a feature of most of our days and we swam in the clear blue sea mornings and evenings. We enjoyed the walk further along the track into Lakka, where there are some really lovely places to eat and also to enjoy a cocktail. We also enjoyed swimming at Planos beach, just a short walk from Villa Thanasis. In short, the villa and Paxos are perfect for us and enabled us to relax in a stunning location, with beautiful views. Every morning stepping on to the Villa Thanasis terrace was sheer joy. We will be returning as soon as time allows.

Das Haus ist von der Fläche und Umgebung wirklich klasse, man kann gut entspannen, und der Ausblick ist einfach ein Traum. Der Außenbereich lädt für schöne Abende ein.Der Pool ist gut gestaltet und man hat genügend Platz. Das Haus ist genau für 4 Personen Ausgestattet, da wir 5 Personen waren, und wir. um ein mobiles Bett gebeten hatten und bei der Buchung was schief gelaufen ist waren wir ein Moment irritiert, Aber die Vermieterin Alexandra, war sehr nett und hat uns das Haus in der Mitte ohne grossen zusätzlichen kosten zur verfügung gestellt, nochmals ein grosses Dankeschön dafür :) Was mir persönlich gefehlt hat, war ZB eine Broschüre wo man eine kleine Anleitung einsehen hätte können für zb TV, Licht, Taxirufnummer, Fahrradverleih, Notfallnummern. Man sollte auch erwähnen, das auf dem Grundstück Katzen leben, uns persönlich hat es nicht gestört, aber es gibt Menschen mit Allergien. Insgesamt, war es wirklich schön, und wir würden es jederzeit wieder Besuchen :)

The overall standard of the property was excellent. The pool was outstanding in terms of cleanliness and setting. The provision of 2 tables meant that we could always find shade or sunshine when required. Thank you for the provision of information in the villa. We were impressed with the local shops and restaurants but spent a lot of time just sitting in the evenings and admiring the view. The team in Paxos were efficient and helpful.Thanks again Agni Travel.
