Villa Anastasia - Three Bedroom Villa, Sleeps 7

Overview
Villa Anastasia is located in Gaios, Paxos. This semi-detached vacation
rental property offers air-conditioning, Free Wi-Fi and sleeps up to 7
people (6 Adults and 1 Child) with 3 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms. There is
a private pool with barbecue and Sea views. Walking distance to the
Beach and Restaurants.
Layout

Villa Anastasia has been carefully built making wide use of traditional
local stone. On the ground floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen
with adjoining dining and sitting area (air-conditioned) opening onto a
shaded terrace with panoramic views. On the same floor 2 bedrooms (one
double and one twin) and the main family bathroom are located. The
upper floor, where a cozy air-conditioned twin bedroom with beamed
ceiling and extra WC are located, is reached via a spiral staircase.
(If required an extra child (7th guest) can be accommodated free of
charge.) The focal point of the house will be without any doubt the big
pool terrace, set within well cared gardens and offering unobstructed
views to the sea and to the Greek Mainland. Parking is located just
below the villa.

Living Room
The living room has a dining area, comfortable sofas, DVD Player and
Free Wi-Fi. There are patio doors to the pool terrace with Sea views.

Kitchen
The kitchen features a toaster, coffee maker, washing machine,
microwave, refrigerator, stove/hob and oven. There is also a barbecue
outside.

Bedrooms
Villa Anastasia has 3 air-conditioned Bedrooms:
Bedroom 1 is air-conditioned with a double bed.
Bedroom 2 is air-conditioned with 2 single beds.
Bedroom 3 is air-conditioned with 2 single beds.
Additional bed available: 1 Folding bed.
(Travel Crib and Highchair available for free.)

SECURITY DEPOSIT
If your party consists of a group where the average age is under 25
years of age, a refundable security deposit of 150 EU, per person, is
required, payable with the accommodation balance or six weeks before
arrival. Upon departure, the villa must be left clean and tidy and upon
inspection, the security deposit will be refunded minus any breakages
or additional cleaning required.

Good base for our first visit to Paxos

Villa Anastasia is a 15 minute walk up the road from Gaios. When we came to book there wasn’t that much available, and although we were looking at Lakka or Loggos we’re really glad we ended up at Gaios. As it’s the port, and the biggest town on the island, we were expecting scruffy, even seedy, but Gaios is not that at all. It’s elegant, with great shops (try the butcher), and the odd superyacht lying around. And regular buses leave from there for Lakka and Loggos. The house itself was sufficient for our needs, and reflected the relatively low cost for the island; the position and the view are fabulous, it’s a shortish walk to a number of beaches, and the pool was great. Limited cooking equipment, but we improvised. There was a bottle of water in the fridge when we arrived, but that was it - you have to provide everything. We left washing up liquid, olive oil, charcoal etc - I wonder if they’re still there?

Good location / uncomfortable living area

We stayed as a family of four but on arrival found a lack of kitchen equipment to cook supper, a rusty kettle, no curtains and no soft sitting area (inside or out), despite photographs. The spiral staircase has been replaced by a wooden staircase which takes up a third of the room. No one answered the phone so we went to Gaios to find Agni Travel the next day, who did provide some missing kitchen equipment that day but no sofa; a two-seater sofa eventually turned up on day 5. Evenings in the villa were not relaxing sitting on kitchen chairs around the kitchen table. The management said the sofas couldn't fit with the new stairs, but the area under the stairs could accommodate bean bags or something our teens would have been happy to sit on. The whole interior is functional but depressing with the lack of soft furnishings, nylon table cloth, 1 dish towel, no ice tray, no grater, no sieve, we would recommend the owner visit and maybe invest a little in his well located property with great views.

Our family had the most wonderful time at the villa, with its cleanliness and helpful service of the local staff. The spaciousness and simple but tasteful furnishing was soothing and calming, we were able to steal away from the kids playing in the livingroom and spend some time alone as a couple. We enjoyed visits to the beach and explored the caves with all its mystery. We lazed around the pool alot. All in all a well spent vacation.

Three generations including my teenage daughter had a wonderful week of joy. Mornings at the balcony were mainly for viewing the sea and to enjoy the cool sea breeze. My parents enjoyed this holiday for they spent quality time with us. Besides this all, my father and daughter made use of the pool as often as could be. Moreover, our home-cooked meals were possible from the groceries that we have picked up at the local supermarket. Driving around in Paxos is a pleasure because of the serenity and the tranquility it radiates. In the evening we walked 10 minutes down the hill to Gaios, the main village, and the port of Paxos. Lively but charming, the narrow alleys and roads were filled with clothing boutiques, galleries, souvenir shops with locally made products, cafes and an excellent choice of restaurants and tavernas. We purchased extra virgin olive oil pressed in Paxos from Babis Lekkas and also stocked up on Paxos-made olive oil soap. It is all worthed to spend your holidays in Paxos in this beautiful house .

After a year of planning our holiday location we hit the jackpot with this villa. Beautiful furniture, enough space, and wonderful swimming hours in the sun. From the balcony you had an overview of what is coming and going; the many yachts that gracefully glided over the water. A beautiful panorama to behold. The local supermarket has enough to offer for self-catering. The days we did not want to be on the street, we had quality family time. A house surrounded with enough green. The entire area well suited for rest.

We were happy with the villa. I think description is reasonably accurate. Also I think the BBQ wasnt of a high enough standard to use, The lady who came in to to clean the villa was very pleasant and did a very good job. I think it would be useful to highlight the frequency that guests should expect the property to be cleaned and to let them know in advance the days the villa would be cleaned, The pool and its surrounds are the stars of the property and we felt this was well highlighted when booking,

We had a lovely holiday despite the issues above. The owner Yannis was very pleasant and we appreciated the home cooked meal from his mum very much. We loved the view out over the sea although there was quite a bit of road noise. We hadn’t hired a car but this would be recommended as it is quite a walk uphill from Gaios.

This is our first holiday in Paxos and probably one of our best villa experiences to date. The location was perfect, the shaded balcony with a wonderful panoramic view of the sea and swimming in the beautifully maintained private pool . We were also very impressed with standards of cleanliness,the villa was spotless and the owner Yiannis visited regularly to tend the pool and check that all was well. The house was cleaned twice whilst we were there in addition to a linen and towel changes.. We would stay at this villa again without hesitation. Thankyou Yiannis Thankyou Agni for reliable helpful and efficient communication throughout .

The owner Stavros was so lovely and helpful. His wife Martha brought us beach towels, fruit and home grown lemons. We felt very at home. They were both very sweet. The location is great view spectacular and the kitchen well equipped. It was easy to walk to Gaios. I would stay here again.

The villa was beautiful and very comfortable. It was situated in a perfect location on a quiet road, we really, really enjoyed our stay. The Agni Travel team were brilliant and made our holiday so relaxed. We didn't have to worry about anything, the car was awaiting us at the port the directions were easy to follow the office was located just 5 minutes away if we had any questions. We will definitely return to Paxos very soon. The owners of the villa were very friendly as well and came in regularly to change the linen etc. Thank you all so much for a fabulous holiday on a fabulous island!

We had a great time in Paxos, the villa worked well for us. The accommodation was simple but met out needs the pool was wonderful. While out of Gaios Anastasia was well placed to walk to the port into town. I would recommend it to anyone want other kind of family accommodation. Thanks.
