Overview
Villa Ramos Dos is located in Puerto Calero, Lanzarote. This detached
vacation rental property offers air-conditioning, Free Wi-Fi and sleeps
up to 8 people with 4 Bedrooms and 3 Bathrooms. There is a private pool
with barbecue. Walking distance to the Restaurants.
Layout

The villa is set on two floors, with the main accommodation being set
on the upper floor where there is one airy lounge with bay windows,
kitchen with dining area, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. On the lower
floor there is a convenient and independent one-bedroomed apartment,
which can be accessed via an internal staircase or via the outside.
This apartment features a large kitchen with sitting area and a
bathroom with shower as well as a double bedroom.
The villa is surrounded by a well kept garden, offering the plus of a
big brick-built barbeque.

Living Room
The living room has a dining area, comfortable sofas, TV and Free
Wi-Fi. There are sea views from the living room.

Kitchen
The kitchen features a granite work top, toaster, coffee maker, washing
machine, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove/hob and oven. There
is also a barbecue outside.

Bedrooms
Villa Ramos Dos has 4 air-conditioned Bedrooms:
Bedroom 1 is air-conditioned with a double bed. En Suite Bathroom
Bedroom 2 is air-conditioned with a double bed.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
If your party consists of a group where the average age is under 25
years of age, a refundable security deposit of 150 EU, per person, is
required, payable with the accommodation balance or six weeks before
arrival. Upon departure, the villa must be left clean and tidy and upon
inspection, the security deposit will be refunded minus any breakages
or additional cleaning required.

Great spot great villa

Excellent facilities at villa just a bit dated.Although not dirty could do with a deep clean.Seems to need a bit of TLC . However this is in no way a complaint. We had a brilliant time we all slept well(very private and quiet) would recommend. Pool was like a warm bath.

Fantastic location, very close to the Marina although property a bit tired location makes up for it, very clean, pool and outside space fantastic, would definitely come back again

Puerto Calero is a beautiful quiet marina. A good selection of restaurants and a small supermarket. Villa Ramos Dos is in a good position. It is well laid out and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The views are stunning and there was plenty of outdoor space including the lovely pool area which is relatively private. There was a nice shaded barbecue area which was good for eating away from the hot sun. I would highly recommend the villa and definitely return in the future.

A nice villa which could do better

Villa Ramos Dos is in a great location, with a nice sized clean pool and property. It is a little dated but this could be forgiven had it a little more care, with broken sun loungers and no working air con available during our trip. Our contact with the host was great however I had to chase for the Villa details and the promise of contact re the air con went unfulfilled. If these small points could be sorted it would be a brilliant Villa, but if you’re not fussed about such things it’s definitely worth a stay.

Due to circumstances we were not able to have our honeymoon. This time of the year near to the Christmas holidays we took the opportunity to arrange our stay in this simple but beautiful Villa. Our immediate family joined us. Although it was the rainy season in Lanzarote, it did not spoiled our plans. At home we made it cozy, warm and we had a lot of fun. Now that we know how it feels to be in Lanzarote and in the villa, we have definitely decided to return.

This villa is dated and in obvious need of an upgrade but I had known that from a previous review. There was obviously a basic clean done as floors clean and sheets fresh but the build up of dust on the cabinets / chest of drawers is disgusting. The pool stairs was so wobbly and split, it was a safety hazard. The air con in the main bedroom was dripping water. There was a missing aircon remote so 2 bedrooms had to keep sharing one. The outdoor pool shower was just dripping.The pool stairs was fixed on day 2 and air con also same day or so we thought.The aircon still continued to drip so I contacted maintenance again who for the second time, sent me the standard email on how to increase the temperature and close doors etc and yet again it still did not work so I had to contact them again. Pool lights did not work and 2 of them got fixed on day 4. Leaving this space unsafe after dark.To summaries it took till day 4 of a 7 day rental to get everything fixed and I spent 4 days on email and also washing towels that I needed to mop up the dripping water from broken aircon.Only videos of broken items which I cannot upload

In need of deep clean.

Even though we asked on several occasions for notice prior to maintenance visits , management took no notice. The pool is peeling on bottom and sides. Not safe for young children or non swimmers with no shallow end. 3 sun loungers broken. Outside shower useless. Shortage of kitchen equipment, drink jug , large glasses , bowls ect. Mattress uncomfortable. Bathrooms in need of re vamp such as sealer around showers , en suite toilet flush useless. Could knit a jumper with dust under bed. Outside area and inside needs a thorough deep clean.

Tolles Ferienhaus in ruhiger Umgebung. Großer Pool und kleine Outdoorküche mit Grill im Außenbereich. Parkmöglichkeit auf der Straße vor der Tür. Innen sehr viel Platz für alle Familienmitglieder. Ausstattung teils etwas veraltet, aber mit viel Charme. Supermarkt und verschiedene Restaurants in Laufweite. Sehr empfehlenswert.

No welcome pack or information on arrival. No info on what to do with bin bags or recycling. Sun beds broken. Only 7 sun-beds on arrival (two of which were broken) despite being assured there would be 8. No glass wear to drink out of. Only 5 seats on table in dining area. Furniture in bbq area broken. No parasols for pool. Pool steps are damaged and my 5 year old sliced his hand on the sharp metal getting in the pool. Bedding and towels not changed during out 10 day stay. The cleaners just dumped a black bag outside the front door with new towels and sheets in with the name of the villa on - this really isn’t acceptable. Lots of blown light bulbs. Wires hanging down from lights in one of bedrooms. Large villa and has loads of potential however, the management company really do need to get a grip of the little faults to make it a great villa. Great location and peaceful. Just let down by the detail unfortunately

Nice and comfortable

A very nice villa close to a few bars restaurants and a shop. A nice sized swimming pool and plenty of space for us all. Only downsides were that nobody came to change the bedding or clean the pool in the 10 days that we were here and we never had any contact with anyone after we arrived. If you do decide to stay here I recommend the Upper Deck bar down by the marina.

Pool NOT heated… villa unloved

As the previous review states, the kitchen utilities are inadequate - we only had 3 people staying and it wasn’t good enough. Use the iron and ironing board at your own risk. The towels are too small, the shower door keeps coming off the hinges. The bedsheets and covers have seen better days. The outside resembles something like a prison outside space. The pool filter doesn’t come on until 3pm so all the debris (mainly paint flakes) put you off going in, although due to the lack of heat you couldn’t venture in anyway! Richard told us the pool was heated when I complained, but having spent each afternoon at our friends heated pool, we know the difference! There was no welcome package, not even a bottle of water to get you started - let’s hope you don’t arrive at night. In summary, this villa needs a lot of love and attention. I have never rented a villa that I didn’t want to go back to until this one… very poor show after being unable to travel for the last 2 years.

Worn and unloved

The property is advertised as an accommodation for 8. The Kitchen facilities only just meet that requirement. Cooking utensils are barely adequate. The 2nd kitchen had no cutlery or utensils. The small dining table just about accommodated 6 people. There were not enough sun beds for every one. This property needs to be updated, it is worn and uncared for. In the bathrooms the shower doors need maintenance. Outside there are white paint spots on the floor tiles everywhere showing a lack of care. Paint flakes could be seen floating in the pool. The pool area was dirty. The pool pump failed twice during our stay. We paid extra for a heated pool, totally inadequate. Only 1 set of keys for the property were initially provided. The TV as only one English Channel (sky news). We enjoyed the sunshine and made the best of it, will never return. When we arrived home we researched further and found many similar reviews to the one I have provided above. We appreciated we should have done more research but this was a last minute getaway to the sun. It is very sad that the owner and property managers have completely ignored these reviews and will likely ignore my honest review. I’m not looking for any refund, I just want to warn others not to waste their money.

zona buenisima

LA zona y la casa muy bien pero el menaje muy escaso faltaba de todo empezando por las llaves si somos un grupo de 8 siempre hacen falta juegos de llaves y solo habia uno si se pierden como entramos. Los platos y cubiertos no llegaban a 8 teniamos que fregar constantemente y asi mucho menaje cazuelas sartenes etc.

We spend 8 nights in this lovely villa in very unusual times. The villa met all our expectations. The kitchen had all we need, there was plenty of space, a lovely pool, great place for BBQ and a stunning view over the mountains in the morning. The pool was cleaned while we were there, really good water quality. We also enjoyed being a bit separate from the crowd of puerto del carmen. Great restaurants only a short walk away... in short: A great place for a holiday. Stephan

We had a fabulous week. The villa was really clean and so close to the beautiful Puerto Calero . The taxi rank was even closer if you wanted to head into the busier Puerto Del Carmen. The kids and adults loved the pool. Highly recommend for space, cleanliness and convenience. Cheers, Joe!

Due to circumstances we did not have the opportunity to enjoy our honeymoon. Now that it is possible we decided to visit Spain and choose to be in Lanzarote.Our immediate family joined us to stay in Villa Ramos Dos for it accommodates our family perfectly. The house has such a practical layout, feels as home and has all the features a holiday rental should have. Although this time of the year it is chilly and rainy, we turned the villa into a warm, joyful and lovely space. Not to forget the heated pool and terrace when we could enjoy the sun. Now that we have experienced Lanzarote and this villa, we have decided to return somewhere during summer.
