Villa Charoula Thio is a villa with a private pool and large terrace,
that is set on two floors. The main entrance to the villa is at
road-level. Inside the villa is a living room with dining area and
kitchen. There are three bedrooms, two double bedrooms and one twin
bedroom, and two family bathrooms.

The living room is air-conditioned and has a comfortable sofas, DVD
Player, Satellite TV and Free Wi-Fi.

Kitchen
The kitchen features a toaster, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave,
refrigerator, stove/hob and oven. There is also a barbecue outside.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
If your party consists of a group where the average age is under 25
years of age, a refundable security deposit of 150 EU, per person, is
required, payable with the accommodation balance or six weeks before
arrival. Upon departure, the villa must be left clean and tidy and upon
inspection, the security deposit will be refunded minus any breakages
or additional cleaning required.

Beautiful villa in beautiful surroundings, villa was clean and had everything you need for a two week stay . We arrived late at night and the owner had left beers , bread , butter, coffee, milk and all other essentials, plus a bottle of wine wine

Superb villa, third time staying here, owner is very friendly and the pool is great! We will be returning here again in the future. It is spotlessly clean and the place is in a wonderful location, quiet and out of town. We love the area of polis and latchi, lovely restaurants and the people are very welcoming. Early May is quiet and as out of main season, everywhere was open as always, but not packed.

Positives: A spacious property with three good size double bedrooms, a great pool area with great set up for living outside in a lovely, quiet rural location about 8 mins from Polis which was perfect for us. The property had everything we needed for a fly and flop including a good selection of books and games. Wifi and aircon was fab. It was ok cleanliness wise and the cleaners came twice the week we were staying. Savvas the property owner was helpful and popped in every couple of days to clean the pool or just check in. We befriended a couple of cats which was lovely for us but could be a negative for others. No mosquitos and a lovely view of the sunset from the top terrace. You will need a car as nothing is really walkable. Not so positives: The property was more tired than expected, it could do with an uplift but then I guess the cost would then rocket. Lots of stuff / old equipment in the kitchen cupboards and the furniture had seen better days. The beds in the ground floor bedroom were awful, really uncomfortable with memory foam pillows which were solid, I even swapped mattresses with no luck. Ants were all over the kitchen so you have to be prepared to keep everything spotless as best you can in a tired kitchen but not an issue in the bathrooms (weirdly!). If you're looking for a cheap fly and flop and don't intend spending too much time lounging on the sofa or in the house itself, you'll be fine.

This is about the 5th time we have stayed at Villa Charoula. The setting is ideal. Surrounded by orange, grapefruit, lemon and olive trees. Near enough to Polis for the supermarket, banks, hospital, and local restaurants. From the terrace there are magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. The pool, which is very private, is kept beautifully clean by Savvas, the owner, who along with his wife (Charoula) will do everything they can to make sure your stay is perfect. We LOVE it. For a quiet and peaceful holiday its very hard to beat.

Brilliant time

We stayed for a week at this property and I must say it was excellent.from arriving in the early evening to find milk, cheese, ham , bread and even a packet of beers in the fridge was a lovely touch. The property guy savvas came over every few days to maintain the pool and picked us all some fruit from the trees which was another lovely touch . The pool was a perfect temperature and the skies were blue the whole time. I’d definitely come back here

Lovely villa pool amazing, arrived to fresh fruit, bread, butter, jam, milk, ham, cheese & water.

Excellent villa & pool. Owner very friendly & arrived to lots of practical food & fresh fruit. Lots of orange trees so had fresh orange juice every morning.

Holiday Review 16th July - 27th July

The villa was perfect, just as it looks in the photos. It was spotlessly clean and tidy when we arrived and then when the cleaners came, around mid stay, they made it spotless again. There was food and drink in the fridge on arrival which was much appreciated after arriving late. We made orange juice for breakfast most days which was really nice. The pool was perfect for our family, with my 8 year old being able to stand in the shallow end when he was tired. There was also plenty of room for my teens to play and mess around. The owner is a lovely man who ensured that our stay was comfortable. The villa is in an excellent location, although a car is needed. The lovely town of Polis is so close by car with a large supermarket which covered grocery shopping as well as pool floats and sun screen. The town is busy in the evenings, the restaurants are good and there is a very authentic feel. Latchi Harbour is also just a short drive down the road with restaurants, boat hire and the beach. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend the villa and area.

Very good - but cold

Property was excellent. But the whole holiday was spoilt by the weather. Apparently we chose the coldest March week in living memory!!! Will return one day.

Well located: 3-minute drive to the supermarket and Polis, Argaka Sandy beach 13 min drive, Kritou Tera Waterfalls 15 mins drive, hiking trails 18 mins drive.... Very close to the sea. would recommend it to my friends thanks for a stress-free holiday. The local area is charming and there are several very good tavernas.

Perfect 5-star villa,... Perfect must stay. The pool was very well maintained. I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to anyone. Polis is a great place, there are casual bars and taverns in small courtyards where there are local tapas and cold beer. We visited also Latchi a couple of times and tried almost all local specialities there. Would definitely use Agni Travel again and stay at the same villa.

This was not the first time we have stayed in the Charoula villas, but it was the first time in Thio, and we will be booking to stay again very soon. It is surrounded by fruit trees and has fabulous views of the surrounding countryside from the top terrace. It is near enough to Polis and Latchi if you want a livelier scene with restaurants and shops, but the villa itself has a calm, quiet atmosphere, just right for relaxing.

Peaceful, quiet location. 5 minute drive into Polis, which has lots of choice for restaurants. Latchi about 10 minutes drive away with some gift shops and restaurants. Villa looking a little tired, but still had a lovely relaxing 2 weeks in the sun. Owners very friendly and helpful and was given 2 homemade cakes.
