COMFORTABLE LIVING SPACES
The villa features a spacious open-plan living area, a fully equipped
kitchen, and a dining space, creating the perfect environment for
relaxation and socializing. The three comfortable bedrooms ensure a
restful night's sleep, while the two bathrooms provide convenience for
all guests. Air-conditioning and free Wi-Fi are available throughout
the villa.
OUTDOOR HAVEN WITH PRIVATE POOL
Step outside to enjoy the private swimming pool, surrounded by a sun
terrace with loungers, making it an ideal spot to soak up the Cretan
sun. The covered dining area is perfect for al fresco meals, where you
can enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Villa Maro is located in Kefalas, Crete. This semi-detached vacation
rental property offers air-conditioning, Free Wi-Fi and sleeps up to 6
people with 3 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms. There is a private pool with

Layout

Villa Maro is a fully private one-storey villa in the charming village
of Kefalas. An entrance on street level, followed by a large pergola
leads up onto a patio, with a large private pool, outdoor cooking,
dining and lounge facilities, outdoor shower and a garden. Entering the
villa, it consists of a large kitchen and dining area, living area, two
bathrooms, and three air-conditioned bedrooms (two with a double bed
and one with two single beds).

Living Room
The living room has a dining area, comfortable sofas, DVD Player,
Satellite TV and Free Wi-Fi.

Kitchen
The kitchen features a toaster, coffee maker, washing machine,
dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove/hob and oven. There is also
a barbecue outside.

Villa Maro has 3 air-conditioned Bedrooms:
Bedroom 1 is air-conditioned with a double bed.

arrival. Upon departure, the villa must be left clean and tidy and upon

The location fully met our desires to where we could do day trips with ease and still have time to take advantage of the private pool and more local things to do. Set in beautiful countryside, the villa was very comfortable and private. We really enjoyed the outdoor spaces both around the BBQ, pool, and terrace! We had a great time there and were every day amazed by how lovely the places Kefalas, Vamos, and Paleloni are (reachable within a short 5-10 minutes drive). Most of our time we enjoyed ourselves at the local Omprogialos beach. Nice sunsets and great leisure time spend there. The villa is cozy, has more than everything you need, wonderful grounds, pool everything! Very satisfied that we booked this villa for our current holiday destination and we definitely book it again for the next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Maro. Arriving tired and late at night, we got misled by Google Maps incorrect location of Villa Maro in Kefalas but Maddy in the local taverna pointed us in the right direction. We should have followed the driving instructions! Everything in the villa was as expected with a few nice welcome items. I would say it is nicer and bigger than the pictures show, especially the lovely garden below the pool. We did have an issue with the aircon in one bedroom, which Agni helped fix reasonably quickly. A car is a must unless you plan to stay in the nice, sleepy village of Kefalas for your whole stay.

We enjoyed our house a lot!

All in one, a very good object. The host is very friendly, communication worked very well. The house could be cleaner- the bathrooms were a little run-down, not that pretty. Towels and bed linen were clean and very white. The kitchen big and clean too. The freezer seemed really old, so the bathrooms. The outside area was more prettier than in the description. Wonderful pool, very clean and nice. Lots of lemon-trees, a good outside grill and comfortable sun loungers. Value for the money-top! We also got a babybett and a baby-chair for free. So kind. One disappointed thing are the beds- the mattresses are very hart and not comfortable at all and the beds are very squeaky. The host and the agency are super reliable. All in one it was a very nice vacation in a very nice house.

Beautiful villa but beware the noise police!

Lovely villa in a beautiful location, close to nearby towns & beaches. The property itself cannot be faulted and the listing is accurate. The only negative that we were impacted by is the local 'quiet hours' that we were blissfully unaware of before arrival. Apparently, 15:00-17:30 is a time of the day when the locals want quietness...this was communicated only by finding an unsigned note stuck to the gate on the first morning there. Subsequently, 2 children playing together in the private pool must have irritated the neighbors enough to then receive a 'noise complaint' email from the villa management company. This local law was nowhere to be seen on the booking page or in the subsequent information sent re travel advice, etc. Left a bit of a sour taste that taking advantage of the beautiful pool at the best time of the day so to not bake alive in the midday sun was done under this restriction. A simple sound meter app revealed that the kids were playing at no louder than 60-70 dB so next door neighbors must have very sensitive hearing!! Final issue is that the off street parking/car port couldn't be accessed as the gate was shut tight and 2 large potted trees are placed immediately behind it to prevent opening. Thus, the car baked in the sun on the street outside and needed to be run on full AC each day before venturing of in it. Parking is tight enough as the village can get busy-ish on weekends/festival days. Overall, minor niggles that wouldn't stop me booking again.

I would like to thank you ,I've spend on this property 14 days and everything is absolutely gorgeous there,not only on this amazing property,but whole around the area and neighbors ,absolutely fantastic, we there like family and we amazingly enjoyed, highly recommend for who needs to enjoy amazing vacations on Crete Greece,this is absolutely Unbelievable not only the property, but the area there and friendly neighbors, perfect strategy point to seeing whole Crete Island, need rent your own car ,need to buy local Greece sim card for your phone at airport only 40$ unlimited access for whole month to stay connected with GPS , and just enjoyed your time there, thank you ,I will coming back there at 100%again 5 star it's not enough for all of this

Fantastic Holiday

Villa was outstanding and can’t fault anything at all, The pool is huge with plenty sun beds and air conditioned bedrooms. Kefalas is a quiet village but a quick jump in the car if you want and your in Vamos and some other places are a little futher out with Chania being approx 25-30 mins away.

I work a lot of hours and was in need of a breakaway and time to relax with my family. Great relaxed holiday at a nice quiet location. Nice terrace and pool, we enjoyed relaxing in the day and evening by the pool. We loved alternating days between exploring different places and beaches and having relaxing days at the villa. The villa and Kefalas were perfect for my family. We had a great time there and were every day amazed by how lovely the places Vamos, Chania, and local villages are. We enjoyed tasting their local food, drinking some of the local wines, swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, etc. Overall the villa is spotless, has more than everything you need, wonderful grounds, pool everything! Very satisfied that we booked this villa for our current holiday destination and we definitely book it again for the next year.

Villa Maro in Kefalas

The House is nice and spacious. The pool and the outdoor area is where we stayed at the most and where Villa Maro persuaded us with. The Kitchen is big, the bathrooms are clean and the inside of the house is cooler than the outside. The village around is tiny, but with a few enjoyable restaurants and a small store to shop for neccessities. All in all we had a great stay. However there were a few things to note: One AC didn't work right from the start and it took until the end of our 10-day-stay to get it fixed (it's a new one now, so it should work from now on, but still). Also getting in contact with the "property managers" was kind of draggy, since it always took some time to get an answer and from one point om we didn't get one at all. This was balanced by the cleaning lady, who was very helpful, but communication with the company was difficult. Three additional notes: The kitchen is very badly equipped in terms of cooking gear and the barbecue outside can be used, but isn't a barbecue in the way you'd expect it. Also, the matresses were pretty worn out. So concluding we had a great time but there were also some annoying things we had to deal with.

Wunderschöne Tage in der Villa Maro

Die Villa Maro ist eine sehr gute Hauswahl! Der Pool ist sehr gross und sehr sauber, das Haus geräumig, sehr gepflegt und mit allem ausgestattet was eine Familie braucht. Wir haben mit dem Anfahrtsplan der Agentur die Villa ohne Probleme gefunden und die Schlüsselübergabe etc. sehr unkompliziert empfunden. Kefalas ist 15 Autofahrminuten von Georgiopolis (Strand, vorallem der Sun Kiss Beach ist zu empfehlen) entfernt. Die Fahrt führt durch Dörfer und Hügellandschaft und ist mit jedem Auto gut machbar. In Kefalas gibt es einen tollen Fussballplatz (Teppichrasen) und einen alten , aber herzigen Spielplatz. Auch die 2 kleinen Supermärkte verkaufen alles was man braucht. Wir empfehlen die Villa weiter! Wir waren mit unseren Kindern 8, 4, und 1 Jahre alt für eine Woche in der Villa Maro. Mit den Liegestühlen haben wir eine " Sicherheitszone" gemacht für unseren Kleinsten (Pool ist nicht eingezäunt) Gut zu wissen: Der Pool ist ca. 1.50 tief . (die Kinder können nicht stehen) Schön ist auch die Beleuchtung in der Nacht draussen. Danke für die lässigen Ferientage, Familie Garcia , Schweiz

We did have a lovely time here however, the pool was great a good size and really clean. The mid week cleaner was an unexpected bonus, with change of sheets, the provision of some wine, water, butter, bread etc was well received. The outside area was perfect and the location in the village fantastic. We loved the tavernas being in walking distance and were pleasantly surprised by the level of village activities and parties, Beautiful location with white mountains and the sea within driving distance. It was great to have towels both shower and beach provided. The fridge was a great size, cooker easy to work. I loved the view from our bedroom and it was a good location to explore the island from.
