Lovely villa in the perfect location for the relaxing break that was wanted and everything that we needed was in the villa. Franco and Claudio really communicative and very informative of all the perks of the villa. Would definitely recommend and thank you to Franco and Claudio for everything.

Franco's villa was beautiful! We enjoyed our week long stay in this lovely setting! Franco and Claudio (caretaker) were very helpful and easy to contact. The villa was very clean and had everything we needed for the perfect stay. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking. There are several outdoor areas sitting. We swam in the sea every afternoon. The beach is only a few steps down from the villa through a private gate. We were sorry to leave and would definitely rent this villa again.

Perfectly relaxing

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay. The house is completely outfitted, from the kitchen to the hi-speed internet, with plenty of storage space and detailed instructions for all appliances, etc. The garden is lovely and perfect for meals, napping, and children who need to run! And the location...what can I say? It couldn't be better. The view of Mt Etna in one direction, quaint Brucoli in the other, and uninterrupted sea between. It is beautiful. We swam almost daily, and within an hour's drive were able to visit ancient ruins, vineyards, Baroque churches, caves, excellent restaurants and beaches. Oh, and there is also a friendly and capable caretaker across the street. My family and I loved staying here and we hope to be back!

Beautiful Villa, Peaceful & Quiet, Amazing views.

This was a lovely villa, positioned right next to the sea with views of Brucoli across the bay and Etna in the distance. Even though we went at Easter, I swam in the sea on a couple of the hotter days, in the Summer it would be even better. The Villa is very clean, well maintained and the garden and patio are wonderful, with plenty of garden furniture. Tables and chairs on the East side to have breakfast in the sun and the west side to watch the sunset and chill out. The kids loved the table tennis and all the games left in the villa and to be able to play by the sea on their own as we could see them from the villa. We arrived on a Sunday (so everything was closed) but the owner had kindly left some food (Pasta, etc) and a wonderful bottle of wine so we cooked tea before shopping the next day. All the facilities (kitchen, showers, etc) worked perfectly and the instructions left were detailed and informative. Even instructions on how to make an Espresso which meant I could be Sicilian every morning. Having the caretaker, Claudio, just across the road was also a bonus if you needed anything. As this was outside the main part of Brucoli is was very quiet in the evening and we felt very safe and secure. We visited Etna, Syracuse and lots of other sites which are less than an hour away. Plenty to see in this region, but the villa was so nice you might not want to go out! I can recommend a wonderful restaurent "La Cavalera", only a short drive, about 2km, from the villa. Have the signatory dish - Blissimo! The owner was really helpful and spoke good English. Look it up on TripAdvisor. The owner was very helpful before we went, easily contactable by email or phone. I would recommend this property, especially for a family that want a private piece of beach by the sea.

Cette maison avec accès à la plage directement depuis le jardin est située dans un cadre magnifique, dans une baie avec vue sur le volcan et le coucher de soleil! Nous avons passé de superbes vacances! Le propriétaire de la maison et le gardien ont été d’une grande gentillesses et en une grande réactivité à chacune de nos questions! Nous reviendrons…..! Merci!

Beautiful Villa by the sea

We searched for a calm and nice place close to the seaside for our family vacation and we found it in Francos house in Brucoli. The property is within a well-kept gated community and the caretaker Claudio is always available to help. All bedrooms and the living room are equipped with individual air-conditioning. WiFi is included and working well. Kitchen has got all you need to cook any meal. Most of the time we spent outside on the new patio or on the lawn which has got stairs to a semi-private sandbeach with a view of Etna. After the swim there is a convenient outdoor shower. There are plenty of chairs and even tabletennis equipment. There is also a tennis court on the premises that you can use. Beds were decent but maybe a bit outdated although all six of us slept well. From the house you can walk to the village of Brucoli in 15-20 minutes and here you can find a handful of nice restaurants . There are plenty of sights to see in less than one hours drive and we went to Taormina, Isola Bella, Alcantara, Noto, Siracusa and Etna. All in all we had a perfect and relaxing week in this nice house thanks to Franco and Claudio.

Fabulous property

The house is exceptionally well equipped. The situation is fabulous with stunning views over the bay and easy access to Bruccoli for shopping and restaurants. Everyone we dealt with for the property was very friendly and helpful.

Great holidays!

We spent 8 great days with our 3 boys end of July and we really enjoyed everything! The only recommendation is to repair the double bed. Mattress is fine but the support planks under it need change. We should tell Claudio the caretaker who was so kind and helpful but since we had so great time we forgot it... If in Sicily we'll stay again.

Erholung pur?

Eigentlich darf man dieses Objekt nicht empfehlen, damit es ein Geheimtipp und somit zu unseren Wunschterminen verfügbar bleibt … :D Wir waren im Oktober zum zweiten Mal in diesem sehr schön gelegenen Haus mit dem phänomenalen Ausblick auf den Ätna. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht und komplett abschalten will, für den ist dieses Objekt perfekt. Stylisches Ambiente wird nicht geboten, die Einrichtung ist einfach aber sehr funktionell und die Aufteilung der Zimmer ist für mehrere Leute gut geeignet – es gibt zwei Bäder und ausreichend Platz auf der Terrasse. Außerdem ist das Sportangebot ansprechend – Tennis, Fußball, Tischtennis und Schwimmen am (hauseigenen) Strand. Die Supermärkte sind mit dem Auto innerhalb weniger Minuten zu erreichen und daher ist die Selbstverpflegung unproblematisch. Für Ausflüge nach Syrakusa, Augusta oder zu Ätna benötigt man einen Mietwagen, ohne den es sowieso nicht geht. Besonderes Lob und ein herzliches Dankeschön möchte in an den Housekeeper Claudio senden, der immer für die Beantwortung einer Frage zur Verfügung steht, ansonsten aber als guter Geist im Hintergrund bleibt und die Privatsphäre beachtet. Er und seine Frau sind herzliche Menschen, die gern lachen und wir freuen uns darauf, sie bald wieder in Brucoli zu treffen.

Stort hus med god standard fullutrustat kök med micro, diskmaskin och tvättmaskin. Ligger perfekt vid en liten sandstrand 6-7 steg från tomtgränsen. Stor terass mot havet varifrån Etna syns och med helt underbar kvällssol. Fantastisk service både av ägaren och lokalt. Tennisbana finns att låna gratis. Vi är supernöjda!

Stunning location - with your own "private" beach and the best view of Mount Etna

The house is wonderful, keeps cool even on the warmest days, excellent equiped, clean, aircontiditoned - and the location ... stunning. Absolutely stunning. The feeling of having your own private beach only a few steps from your house makes you not want to leave this place. A big garden surrounds the house and makes you get the feeling of your own private area. The always helpful Carlos met us at the gate when we arrived, showed us the house and told us about the area. The charming town Brucoli looks during daytime as a sleepy place, but when the sun goes down people arrive from long distances and turns it to a lively cool place. With a rented car you can easily reach the best cultural sites as i.e Siracusa, Noto, Mt Etna, Villa Romana.

Perfekter Urlaub. Das Haus hält was es verspricht. Guter Kontakt zum Vermieter und zum Hausbetreuer. Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Lage, Haus und Garten sensationell. Sehr empfehlenswert. A lovely villa

We had a lovely stay at Villa Civello. From making the booking to the return of the deposit everything was extremely well organised. The villa is well appointed and clean and the location truly spectacular. The villa is also well placed for trips around the Eastern side of Sicily, including Etna, Siracusa, Noto, Cava Grande and more. Would recommend highly.

Fantastic villa in Brucoli

We arrived quite late and so didn't get the full impression of the villa or the view until the morning, and what a sight, it was such a beautiful view across the bay, and the sunsets were marvellous. Etna was often hidden from view because of the heat mist but it was a lovely sight when it came into view and we had a good trip around the whole of Etna one day. The villa is perfection, we had a fantastic time here, all the facilities were as mentioned in the description and we wanted for nothing. This was one of the only villas we have stayed at with full mosquito nets at every window, and the first time we have never got bitten during our many trips to Italy, as we took the advice of Franco and closed the doors to the bedroom corridor. We used the outside shower everyday and it was lovely in the July heat. We bought a cheap snorkel set from the local supermarket, and it was lovely to see the fish in the bay just below our balcony. The owner Franco was always quick to reply to my questions and to give advice, and the caretaker lived just behind the villa in case of any problems (which we didn't have). I would definitely recommend the villa to friends and relations, we were sad to leave. We visited all the major historical sites, if you have children/student age I would recommend taking your passport/ID so that you can get cheap rates for entry. thanks again Franco for the use of your lovely villa, we hope to return very soon.
