The Apartment consist of Double Bed / On Suite Bathroom /Air Conditioning / Wifi / Cable TV / Ceiling Fans / Dining Area / Fully Fitted Kitchen - Fridge, Cooker, Microwave / Laundry / Car Parking / Access to swimming pool.

The newly built Studio Apartment is one of three apartments that make up Plover Court Apartments. From the apartment you get a good view of Long Beach.

PLEASE NOTE WE MUST COLLECT A GOVERNMENT ROOM FEE OF $2.50 US A NIGHT PER ROOM. TO BE PAID ON ARRIVAL

Plover Court Apartments are newly built Studio,1 and 2 bedrooms holiday apartments. It is located in the south-east part of the Island, approximately 10 minutes (7 km) from the airport in a quiet residential area in Inch Marlowe, Christ Church. Several beaches are within close proximity (including Long Beach, Surfers Point and Silver Sands.

The apartment is wired for both North American (i.e. 120 volts) and European (i.e.240 volts) electrical appliances.

Wireless broadband is included at no extra charge.

The lounge and bedroom are both air-conditioned and the bedroom contains a double bed, en-suite bathroom, built-in wardrobes and drawers.

There is a 3-piece suite, TV, DVD player and coffee table, The dining area has table and chairs to seat 4 persons.

The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine. There is also a covered patio area at the front of the apartment and a small swimming pool at rear of the property.

This 1-bedroom apartment is equipped for self-catering. Situated in Inch Marlowe, in the parish of Christ Church, it is only a short drive from several popular South Coast beaches and is approximately 4.5 kilometres (5 minutes drive) from Oistins a commercial and recreation hub in this southern side of the Island.

The apartment is close to public transport. The coast of Silver Sands is ideal for windsurfing and the area is recognised as world-class spot for this sport. Long beach offers a large expanse of beach, approximately one-mile long, where lively waves wash onto white coral sand shores.

If you are a keen golfer you are able to visit thye 18-hole championship course at the private Country Club of Royal Westmoreland. Barbados Golf Club and Sandly Lane golf Club. Cycling and mountain biking are also very popular amongst locals this Caribbean Island.

Reggae, Soca, Steel Pan and Calypso music are part of the Island's culture and this can be experienced while staying in Barbados. Fresh fish is available at the local fish markets such as snapper, dolphin (not flipper), king fish, tuna or flying fish are amongst the delicacies which can be enjoyed on this wonderful island.

Wonderful hosts!

We especially enjoyed hosts Roland and Cheryl; very gracious and accommodating hosts! Roland kindly took us out to buy groceries, since stores were not in easy proximity to the property. The bus stop was not a great distance away, so we were able to enjoy a nice beach & great fish restaurants.

Very nice studio well planned out good not to have A/C on all the time open windows and fresh air throughout. Very peaceful surroundings Not suitable for very elder people as it’s too far to walk to bus stops in the heat unless they have a car, we were 75 and 79, need to catch the regular bus to beach. But overall we enjoyed our stay

Simply luv Barbados!

Check in was nice and simple pretty close to everything we usually go to when on the island Roland was there for any time we needed him if any apartment was nice could use a few necessities for every day living special in the kitchen otherwise I would recommend it price was great too!!

Great holiday.

Ronald and Sheryl are great. Readily available to chat about any concerns. We actually thought we had booked accommodation with a veranda but were housed in the studio. Pictures on the website a bit ambiguous. Just something to be aware of. Location has been covered in previous reviews.The taxi fare from Oistins is a reasonable B$20, if you go shopping in Oistins supermarket.We would have liked a change of linen after our first week,but it didn’t bother us enough to mention it. Facilities in the studio are excellent. Ac, fan, cooking equipment. We had an excellent holiday and thanks to Ronald and Cheryl for looking after us. 👍😃

A wonderful week exploring Barbados!

We had a wonderful week exploring Barbados and the studio suite was perfect for my husband and I to have as our home base. The studio was clean, tidy and bright. Roland was very prompt in responding to any of my queries prior to our arrival which I really appreciated. Finding the house on arrival was a little difficult due some road work being done in the neighbourhood but Roland was able to provide us with an alternate route without difficulty. Roland and Cheryl are warm people which made our week very memorable.

Decent property with welcoming hosts.

Roland & Cheryl were extremely helpful and welcoming. Any issues were promptly sorted. The property was clean and basic amenities were provided. Inch Marlow is quite far out so best if you are hiring a car, as we did. The beach nearby is not really suitable for swimming but Accra, Miami & Hastings are a short drive away. There was a nice breeze in the property when windows were opened. The pool is more a jacuzzi so not to swim in. Overall, the experience was good and the price was decent. It would have been even better if there was a telephone and a dining table.

Chouette endroit

Notre séjour a été très agréable, l'appartement et la piscine sont très propres. Roland a été très gentil. L'appartement se situe dans un quartier résidentiel. Si vous ne possédez pas de voiture, il y a les bus ZR qui passent très régulièrement, a dix minutes de marche.

1st Rate Experience!

We had such a wonderful stay...the unit was so clean, it was like a home away from home, Roland and Cheryl were so friendly and helpful. My wife loved the decor and we walked to the nearby beach...so peaceful! We would return in a heartbeat! Cheryl actually offered to help with transportation for my daughter's wedding...it was great! If you don't know people here it would be good to get a rental and your GPS works even if you phone doesn't have service! Thank you so much Roland and Cheryl!!

Beautiful and a good deal.

Off the beaten path, so rental car is recommended if you want to see the island. Taxi and bus service avail which we used to get around. Half mile or so walk to taxi/bus. Stop is called "sea view". Roland and Cheryl were great hosts. Only suggestion is that it would have helped to have advance directions for cab ride from airport.

Clean, calm, relaxing, very nice!

It was a very nice and clean appartment, only a few minutes walk to Long Beach. Roland and his wife were very friendly and helpfull, the surrounding is very calm - we appreciated this. We can just recommend to stay at Rolands place. :)

Quiet peaceful location

The studio was modern and wellequipped for a 1/2 person stay. Being on the first floor there was a lovely breeze that meant there was no need for the A/C. Although some way out from the hustle and bustle of bridgetown, Oistins is only 4km away. Roland was very helpful and took me to the local restaraunts and told me where the local supermarket was. He was always on hand to help with any query. All in all a grat stay. Thanks Roland Steve

Hidden Treasure

Roland's place was a real gem. It was very clean, spacious, air conditioned and having a full kitchen and utensils made my stay much more enjoyable as I cooked all my meals which saved lots of money from eating out. There were a few grocery stores nearby, but if you want a real supermarket, you'd have to go to town for that which wasn't too bad as buses running very often and are cheap, just about 1 USD each way. A car is recommended if you wanna explore more about the island as there are so much to see and do. The warm climate was very inviting and the beaches are walking distance from the property. The only downturn was the internet that kept breaking up and sometimes was very slow, but for the most part, it worked and the TV also worked great as many international channels were available like CNN, ABC, MSNBC, HGTV etc... I highly recommended Roland's place to single traveler's or couple traveling together as the neighborhood offered a pure serenity and friendliness. Thumbs up!!

Plover Court Apartments consist of three apartments, a Studio Apartment, a 1 Bedroom Apartment and a 2 Bedroom Apartment. The apartments were built with our guest in mind and to provide them with clean, comfortable and spacious accommodation. Another feature of Plover Court Apartments is its location. Located in a beautiful part of Barbados on the south coast and is 2 minutes walk from Long Beach and in easy reach of public transportation and grocery stores. The nearest major town is Oistins, which is 10 minutes away. Oistins is the place to be especially on a Friday night, where fish is served all night long, by dozens of restaurants. So on your next visit to Barbados, make Plover Court Apartments, in the parish of Christ Church your place of choice.
