- Bar, restaurant and evening entertainment in the summer months
- Surfing lessons on the beach. The Surf School is on site and you can hire or buy surfboards, kayaks, body boards, SUP and wet suits.
- Devon has plenty of tourist attractions for more fun!

Check-in time is 16:00 but if you need your arrival time to be earlier than this, we will do our best to give you an earlier check-in but please tell us your preferred time at least two weeks before you come.

Getting around
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BEACH CARAVAN IS SITUATED ON A HILL WHICH IS A SHORT STROLL UP FROM THE BEACH.

Other things to note

You do have great cooking facilities and a really big fridge and freezer. Rather than going to the shops during your stay you might like to bring some of your favourite foods to enjoy so that you can spend more time relaxing rather than shopping on your holiday.

Ideal Coastal Location

Ideally located adjacent to Challaborough Bay. Easy access to sandy beach and West Coast footpath for amazing breathtaking views including NT protected areas. Caravan size perfect for us as a couple but maybe a bit of a tight squeeze for 4 adults or older children. Facilities including cooking adequate but lacked some basic housekeeping items but following a text to the owner, I was advised where to find them. I did suggest that maybe these should be indicated a bit more clearly to guests. One would also normally expect other handy items which are normally provided by most s/c properties as follows: First Aid kit, bathroom/kitchen cleaning materials, teapot, cling film, baking foil, There is a patio table adjacent to to the mobile home which which had very pleasant views of the sea and Burgh Island opposite. We'd be quite happy to stay again probably during school term as it probably gets very busy during school holidays as the site appears to have excellent facilities for children including indoor swimming pool.

Good views

Property not as expected, smaller bathroom than pictures show. No privacy, right on end of row, could do with some nets up at windows, just curtains, which had to be closed until you're dressed. Spectacular views, very hot caravan, we had very hot weather. I had emailed owners regarding towels, I was told everything provided. I then had to go buy tea towels, dish cloth, scourer and washing up liquid. Property didn't seem to have been cleaned but beds were made ready for us. Once we had settled in we could finally relax and enjoy our stay, except people kept noseying in through the big front windows!!! It was a good base for us travelling to different towns near by. Very narrow, steep roads down to the holiday park with plenty of passing places. Final day went to shop on site where they had good supply of most things needed. Would be nice to have a visitors book and file with local information in. The signal and WiFi weren't great in the area, a bit hit and miss.

Lovely views - great beach location

We had a great time overall. Despite some COVID restrictions in place we were able to do what we wanted. Learning to Surf with the family was great and the near by school is recommended. The caravan had everything we needed it was warm at night so some portable a/c or fans provided might be a nice idea. The entertainment passes were overpriced for what they gave us. It would have been nice if they were provided for free. We did not need them for the pool or the water front restaurant. We only needed for Christie’s bar. We left them behind as requested, so at least the next people do not need to spend £30. Overall this has not affected our rating and still give it 5*. We cannot fault the location to the beach and the lovely views. Justin & Kiyomi

lovely views in a great holiday home

really nice holiday home brilliant views over the bay, very clean and equipped. the 2nd bedroom is on the small side as said in info and we coped very well. a steep hill to get up to it but worth it for the view

Great week at Challaborough bay

The caravan was spotless and very well presented. It is in a really lovely location with great views across the bay and an easy parking spot. We had a fantastic week and would highly recommend!

A beautiful get-away next to Burgh Island

We had a wonderful week in this lovely caravan. Great beaches, walks and swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding opportunities.
