Mercanzia apartment.

Located in one of the liveliest and most central areas of the city, the residence allows its guests to visit the historic center of Bologna and all the main attractions: the main square and its monuments, the old market area, the university and via Indipendenza, the large and lively commercial avenue of the city. The Mercanzia apartment is a three-room apartment of 48 square meters consisting of two bedrooms: one double and one twin, a large living room with single sofa bed, fully equipped kitchenette including dishwasher and microwave oven and bathroom with shower. Among our services we offer final cleaning, all utilities (water, electricity and gas), Wi-Fi internet connection, satellite TV, independent heating/air conditioning depending on the season.

Located in a very centralised part of historic Bologna, the apartment was perfect for our 5 night stay in the city. Very clean, quiet and the small kitchen & sitting area was ideal! Highly recommended!

Amazing location!

We really enjoyed our stay in Bologna and at Residence Petronio. The location was just perfect, centrally located in the historic district , just a few steps from Piazza Maggiore and the 2 towers. The apartment had everything we needed for our family of 4. Highly recommend this place.

Unbeatable location, and just as advertised

The apartment has the feel of a hotel suite with a kitchenette. Everything was clean, the contactless check-in was easy, and the location is truly unbeatable for walking around Bologna. It was the perfect situation for our family (2 adults, 2 kids).

The apartment was fantastic. I dont think it was the one in the pictures i originally saw but there are a few in the building. Location is amazing, right in the centre. The windows keep a lot of noise out but be prepared for some noise at night particularly at the weekend. Beds were very comfortable. We would stay again and would recommend.

Great stay to visit Bologna!

We had a great stay, the apartment was clean, fantastic location next to the towers! Everything you need for your stay. Laundry room was right in the building, so convenient! Elevator up, busy location but almost completely sound proof! Only drawback was that due to construction on the towers, taxis and cars are not allowed for close pick up and drop off. The host will let you know all details you need :)

A winner in Bologna

We were very pleased with our stay at Petronio Residence. The apartment is not fancy, but it is totally adequate. The location can’t be beat. It’s a bit noisy, but it quieted down to allow good sleeping. The windows are remarkably soundproof! Definitely recommend if you want to be in the center of the action in Bologna.

Great Bologna apartment

Apartment is in an excellent position. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The washing machine is downstairs but was readily available. Note if you're catching a taxi tot he apartment they need to drop you just around the corner as they aren't supposed to stop in the street.

Great stay, minor misses

This apartment is the best for location! We were able to walk everywhere of interest in Bologna. It is just a block away from the bus stop, for easy access to the train station. Cleanliness overall was excellent. On weekends, via Rizzoli is closed to traffic and we were able to enjoy the bustle of cafes, and the street musicians from the comfort of the well-appinted kitchen. The kitchen had everything needed to have a nice meal at "home". The couple minor misses were: the unit smelled of smoke when we arrived. It wasn't a big deal as it cooled down a day or two later to the point where we were able to open the windows and air it out. The dryer in the shared laundry room took a long time to dry our clothes (we have recently stayed in Venice and Colmar with washer/dryers, so we were able to compare with other European appliances to make sure we were not applying American expectations). Finally, one of the windows in the living room doesn't completely seal shut so the window closes but the street noise comes through. The window in the bedroom facing via Rizzoli has no problems, and I was able to sleep well with the bedroom door closed to block out living room window noise. All in all,a great value and wonderful location in Bologna, with some of the best food nearby that we have ever eaten!

Excellent location and clean

Great location … easy to maneuver around Bologna from this apartment. The apartment had everything you would need and also use of the washer dryer was a big help. The slippers were a nice touch as well.

Très bien situé

Confortable et bien situé, cet appartement permet de visiter Bologne à pieds. Si on vient en voiture, on doit garer la voiture à 10 minutes de l'appartement situé en ZTL mais ensuite on a le loisir de tout visiter à pieds.

Wonderful Apartment right in the center!

This was a terrific well styled apartment right in the center of the action and right next to the towers. It was surprisingly quiet, and spacious for our family of three. We were also able to secure parking around the corner which was an added bonus. Would highly recommend!
