Santo Stefano Elegant Apartment by Wonderful Italy

Splendid apartment with refined and elegant furnishings, located in one of the most beautiful and elegant squares in Bologna, just a few steps from the Two Towers.



The apartment, recently renovated and located on the second floor of a building in the historic center, features refined furnishings in light shades and is characterized by vaulted ceilings. The entrance opens onto the living area consisting of a large open space with an open kitchen and island, equipped with all amenities including a dishwasher and an oven, a dining table and a sitting area with sofa and TV.

The sleeping area consists of two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and one with a double sofa bed. Two bathrooms, one with shower and one with toilet, complete the layout.



Free wifi, washing machine, air conditioning and heating are available in the accommodation.



The apartment is located in the ZTL area, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the nearby parkings and enjoying the old town on foot.

Bologna is a city of art, culture and trade. The capital of Emilia-Romagna is also known as “Dotta” (erudite), being the oldest university of the West, as “Grassa” (fat) for its gastronomic delights and “Rossa” (red) for the colors characterizing its old town. Its soul is in the medieval old town, one of the biggest in Europe, dotted in taverns, workshops and theaters, characterized by almost 40 km of porticoes. In the city center there is Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of medieval buildings is perfectly combined with modernity. Not to be missed are the Fountain of Neptune by Giambologna and the Medieval Towers, “Torre degli Asinelli” and “Torre della Garisenda”, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in several museums, art galleries and religious buildings. It is allowed to leave Bologna only after having tried its gastronomic products, among which mortadella, tortellini, ragù alla bolognese while sipping famous DOC wines from the Bologna hills! Rich in exhibitions, fairs and cultural events, Bologna can surprise you in every season.



Around 2 km from the apartment there is the central train station while the airport is 25 minutes away by car.

Top Lage, Wohnung sehr stylisch und schön. die Wohnung war jedoch schon abgenützt, im Badezimmer bröckelt die Wandfarbe ab, der Geschirrspüler war hat nicht ordentlich gewaschen, praktische Dinge fehlen (z.B. in der Dusche Ablagefläche für Seife etc, Handtuchhalter,..), die Wohnung sollte öfter von der Agentur kontrolliert werden, z.B. ein Messer hatte totale Kerben

This was a fabulous apartment. Spacious, clean, comfortable, airconditioned and right in the heart of town. Plenty of space for me, my husband and our daughter. Communication was great. The restaurant downstairs was excellent and there were places in the square to have a relaxing afternoon drink and soak in the beautiful setting. We didn't want to leave.

The unit is spacious and is perfectly situated in one of the most beautiful areas of Bologna. The piazza on which the unit is located is full of energy and simply beautiful to the eye. The property management team was responsive and so easy to work with. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return to this apartment.

Excellent location in Bologna

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It's in a beautiful square, Piazza Santo Stefano, which is a delight to spend time in. The apartment is close to all the old city sites and easy walking distance. The bedroom is in the back of the apartment, so it is quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here very much. The location and unit are fabulous. The service was prompt and friendly. You need to set up a meeting to enter -- no key code. The unit doesn't have some of the basics (coffee maker was broken, no coffee/salt, no dish towels provided. needed to ask for laundry detergent to be provided although there is machine). Extra charge for more than one set of towels per person for the week.

Great location

Quiet, near restaurants, excellent location, with modern touches. Stayed 10 days and walked to train station, grocery stores, landmarks, museums, and restaurants.Needed to be more well stocked on paper products and trash bags for a 10 day stay. Also one set of towels for each for that amount of time is insufficient.No kitchen staples by way of ffood except sugar packets.Contacts were quick and efficient with management team.

Very nice apartment in an excellent location. The property staff were very flexible as my arrival kept changing because of travel problems. Luciano was an absolute hero.. As with many older buildings, various problems arose during my stay. Again, staff were very responsive to the immediate situation, but lack of a permanent fix meant I couldn't, for example, use the oven or freezer. Good attention to detail such as comfortable bed and good reading lights.

What a find. On the Santo Stefano Square in the heart of the city, up only 1 flight of stairs, very spacious. The food in Bologna is amazing and the archetecture is stunning. A couple of small areas for improvement. The paint in the bathroom is flaking away. The matresses on the floor in the main room should be rep[laced with couches.

Perfect Bologna Apartment

This apartment is perfectly located in a lovely square with great places to have a bite to eat and a beverage! Simply decorated and had everything we needed. Quiet at night and comfortable beds. We would defiantly stay here again. When you check in just get some clear direction on where to dispose of your garbage.

Late delayed checkin was facilitated brilliantly, the accommodation was brilliant and most unexpectedly the location was unbeatable. The square you walk straight out on to was beautiful with the seven churches on the opposite side and a number of bars/restaurants. If I went back to Bologna, i would easily book the same place again. Thanks for a great break!

Excellent place to stat

A good sized apartment to stay in the middle of Bologna! Close to everything! The host was very communicative and helpful! We would highly recommend this place for families and groups of people staying together. Roomy and well equipped!

Everything we could’ve asked for

Absolutely wonderful. Very easy to get to from water taxi. Wonderful area easy to get to everything just beside the gondola that takes you across the grand Canal. After a day of wandering around, it is great to be able to sit on the patio and watch people go up and down the canal.

The perfect place for experiencing Bologna

Location, location, location! Perfectly located in the actual center of Bologna, overlooking Piazza Santo Stefano and the Seven Churches architectural complex. But not only, there's more. The apartment itself is finely decorated with restored original elements, giving it a very pleasant blend of modern decor and historical feeling. We really enjoyed staying at the apartment

Great apartment in the center of everything

Loved our stay. The apartment was beautiful and right on a great piazza with multiple restaurants and gelato places at your doorstep. Check-in was easy. Lots of fresh towels, well equipped kitchen, full size fridge + freezer.

Fine for two people

Check in was fine. The management company is only available to communicate between 10-6 and during those hours were pretty non responsive. Sp if you have any issues, good luck! There was a plumbing issue that they kept saying could be solved if we didn’t use air conditioning but it was really hot so that wasn’t really an adequate choice. So instead the bathroom was covered in condensation the whole time. They gave limited towels so we couldn’t really soak it up. The bathroom door also dragged on the ground so you couldn’t really close it or else you’d be trapped in the bathroom. Sleeping arrangements were inadequate. We had 4 small flat pillows between the four of us and only 3 had pillow cases. Blankets were this and didn’t cover the bed. The fold out couch they consider the second bedroom was very uncomfortable and there was no reason there wasn’t a proper bed. Ultimately the place was clean but it’s clear they are focused on spending as little as possible on the experience. It’s essentially an empty apartment with one bed, one fold out couch and some pillows on the floor in the living room they call a couch. I think it would be great for one couple because you could use all of the bedding from both rooms which was enough for one bed but two couples is a stretch with the amenities that were available. We ended up moving to a hotel for the second night and again in the process of communicating with the management company, they just stopped responding.
