This unit is amazing! Exactly as the pictures show! The view of the Caribbean Sea is breathtaking. Juan Dolio is a wonderful community- the people are very friendly. At the condo, all of the employees were helpful, friendly and always making sure we were happy. They had a lot of patience with us as we tried to learn Spanish. Yasiris was a fantastic host- responsive when required in a timely and friendly manner. We will definitely return to this accommodation next fall. Thats to a wonderful host, fabulous Dominican people, and a warm and comfort condo!

La propiedad es muy buena porque el edificio lo maneja gente con criterio, pero los que alquilan este apartamento dejan mucho que desear. Llegué cerca de las 8:00 PM y en recepción no sabían nada de mi llegada ni conocían a Yasiris, la encargada del mismo, ni a Vrbo, los dueños del apartamento. Llamé a Yasiris varias veces y cuando respondió se excusó porque estaba en una fiesta, además, no sabía nada de mi llegada. Esto me escribió por WhatsApp: Es que estoy de viaje y el el lugar que estoy el internet no es muy bueno y nunca me llegó una notificación de tu Reseva. Por eso no la había visto hasta que entré ahora a la plataforma. Además de eso, el aire acondicionado no funcionaba y después de subir un breaker que dejaron apagado y muchos intentos, mi esposa encendió las luces del baño principal y ahí funcionó, 8:34 PM. Resulta que el sistema de encendido del aire acondicionado pasa a través del interruptor del extractor de aire del baño. Yaniris lo negó siempre, pero así es como funcionaba mientras estuvimos ahí. Luego no se veía la TV de la sala, otro traginar, hasta que llegó un señor y la mucama después de las 9:00 PM. Dormir en la habitación otra tragedia pues el aire acondicionado da directo en la cara y el torso, y no tiene manera de dirigirlo hacia otro lado. La única ventana que tiene la habitación está protegida por una cortina tipo persianas, una está dañada y la luz del pasillo hace la habitación muy clara, lo que dificlta el sueño, dormimos en la sala.

BEAUTIFUL AND PEACEFUL

This is our second time in this beautiful apartment, we were so happy to found it available.I love the ocean view, I will never get tired to enjoyed it, plus the surrounding quietness and privacy is great if you need to rest.It has enough space for 2-4 people and its location is closed to many stores and restaurants. I love it! I definitely recommend this place .

The apartment was clean and beautiful, like in the pictures, and the views of the beach (which is very close) are amazing. I was a bit disappointed with the beach because it had very few areas with shade for the general public, the water is never higher than your hips or waist, there was plastic garbage here and there, and a lot of areas had rocks that hurt your feet when you go into the water. Not the best beach I have visited, in general. I didn't like the swimming pool either because it was freezing at all times --probably the reason it was always empty. The area has three or four restaurants, but not much else.

BEAUTIFUL WITH GREAT VIEW

It’s a very nice apartment, me and my husband enjoyed our stayed, the balcony has a beautiful patio set that we enjoyed for our relaxing time. The amazing view of the ocean we could see it from the kitchen, dining area, living room…we loved it! I hope we can find it available in our next visit to Dominican Republic

Yasiris and her Apartment are AWESOME!

This is my DR peaceful getaway. When I don't want the city vibes of Santo Domingo, I always go to this apartment in Juan Dolio. Yasiris is a great host and she's always been available promptly to answer questions I may have. I see myself always returning to this apartment when I want a more peaceful and quiet getaway to Dominican Republic.

Great, peaceful getaway 'out if the way'...

This apartment is just what I need when I'm wanting to come to DR in the general Santo Domingo area, but I want more of a low-key and relaxing get away. Everything is just as described as in the VRBO posting. I will definitely chose this apartment again when I want to come to this area of DR. The host is AWESOME!

The host was very nice and attentive. She even went the extra mile and arranged a taxi pick-up for us with a nice and trustworthy gentlemen. The building was clean and the staff was always nice. The apartment was clean and very well kept and had everything we needed to cook and to enjoy our stay. Felt like a home away from home. And the balcony view was amazing.

Place is not on the beach

Place was okay pictures where deceiving o the that could have ben my fault for not reading the description the apartment is not on the beach is one line back there is really not munch to do around here place was nice over all nice view good looking place did smell a bit lik it had ben locked up for a while and not clean bought it did look some what clean sheet on the bed a lil stained idk y the hostess that rented the place to me very nice very helpful and all ways answered the phone when i called i gave her 5 star's for customer services the place gets a 4 stars over all because it was truly nice bought the pool and the area of the was all so under construction so it look lik Giant mess not appealing at all. Price it gets 5 star because I truly think price was good.

This property is excellent. The view from the balcony is awesome. Wake up to ocean view, have breakfast on the spacious balcony. Host does not state it but it is on the 13th floor with panoramic view. Very secure building.

Beautiful, peaceful, clean, and quiet near Santo Domingo!

The title pretty much says it all. The apartment was beautiful, peaceful, clean, and quiet. EVERYTHING was EXACTLY as ADVERTISED! Both Yasiris and Loly were great hosts as both were very responsive through the VRBO app. I will definitely choose this apartment again if i want to experience this location for a wonderful vacation to hit the 'reset' button. The apartment view from the 13th floor is wonderful overlooking the beach! Also, the blue lights (I think I could've changed the color, but the blue seemed fitting) in the ceiling were an added unexpected bonus.

Very well equipped and elegant property with sentational views over the ocean. The owner is very helpful and responsive. The apsrtment is close to restaurants and bars and there is easy access to the beach.

Great Get away ... Loved Our Vacation!!

The pictures truly did not do the reality of in person.. absolutely beautiful 😍! We plan to return for a longer stay!! A week was not long enough! We met so many people that was friendly and educational of the community and surroundings! Thank you for sharing a piece of your Heaven with Us!

Le condo est vraiment extraordinaire!

Nous étions en vacances à Juan Dolio a Villa Palmera du 10 fév. au 10 mars 2023, appartement 13B la vue sur la mer est imprenable. Très sécuritaire. C'est super beau, la décoration est très très jolie. Il y a tout ce don nous avons besoin pour se faire de bons repas. Les piscine, spa, encore une fois le décord est incroyable des endroits pour manger et plus. Mais le meilleur de tout c'est Yasiris (l'hôte) elle est tellement gentille, vraiment elle fait tout en son pouvoir pour que notre séjour soit parfait. Nous la remercions encore. L'appartement est très bien situé dans le nouveau Juan Dolio, nous traversons la rue et nous sommes à la mer. La plage est petite mais belle, manque de palapas pour se protéger du soleil, sur semaine c'est très tranquille, le week end il y a beaucoup de monde puisque les dominicain sont en congé. Il y a de très bon resto tout près, des petits épicerie ou on peut trouver presque tout. Une fois semaine nous allions à San pedro de macoris nous allions au Jumbo (gros IGA genre), mais il y en a d'autre aussi. Les Dominicains sont très gentils, nous n'avons eu aucun problème. Il y a beaucoup de Québécois qui sont là pour du long terme...c'est cool, ils nous donne beaucoup d'informations quoi aller visiter ou aller pour trouver ceci ou cela. Nous sommes contente de nos vacances et vous en souhaites de très bonne aussi.

Amazing Vacation!

We stayed in this apartment for one month and had the most amazing vacation! The apartment is beautifully decorated; is very clean; and the view is absolutely stunning! We spent a lot of time on the balcony & it has very comfortable seating options & we were in awe of the spectacular views! Although the apartment building is not right on the beach, you still get the amazing view of the ocean because it’s on the 13th floor; and it is a very short walk to the beach. The building is secure & the lobby staff were very welcoming & helpful. The building also has a gym, games room, BBQ & lounge area and two pools & two hot tubs. The pool area is a beautiful, quiet relaxing space. The apartment is located close to a variety of restaurants & two mini markets. Yasiris was very responsive to any of our questions/concerns & extremely helpful. She even arranged a taxi driver to pick us up at the airport. We would definitely book with Yasiris again!

Perfect location for a nearby wedding

We needed somewhat last second accommodation for a wedding up the street, and we couldn’t have been happier with this apartment. It was affordable, clean, and two building over from the location of the wedding. The pictures don’t do the listing justice. ITS EVEN NICER! And the view!!! They have this garage door shutters thing that covers the view, and then you use a remote to open it up and the reveal is absolutely stunning. Such an amazing view.

DEBES VER ESTE LUGAR POR TI MISMO ES EXPECTACULAR !!

¡Oh, Dios mío! ¡Reserva! este lugar es increíble, la ubicación, la vista frente a la playa, las sábanas tenían un gran olor, todo agradable y limpio. La cocina está bien equipada, el sofá cama es una joya que pasamos nuestras noches allí, ni siquiera usamos el aire acondicionado. Estábamos disfrutando del increíble ambiente de la naturaleza con brisa. Gracias por una hospitalidad tan increíble. La piscina es genial, agua tibia, la sala de juegos fue un éxito. Todo fue mucho más de lo que esperaba, sencillamente excepcional. Estoy deseando volver con la familia.

Updated, comfortable property.

The building and apartment was very updated, had great customer service, was clean, and it was a 4 minute walk to a little grocery store and multiple delicious restaurants. It was not right on the beach which we didn't realize but it was across from it and a quick walk to the beach which was just fine. The beach is nice for relaxing or even snorkeling with lots of shells and dead coral. The hot tub wasn't quite hot but it was warmish. The game run was a nice thing to have on one of the days when it rained all day long. The apartment itself was beautiful and the balcony was very comfortable. It could use a citronella candle or two but we survived. Any issues we had we were able to contact the host and she remedied them in zero time. She was extremely responsive. We plan to return and might just stay at the same location even though it's not on the beach. We kinda don't want to take the chance that the others locations won't be as well taken care of and updated.
