This is our 2nd stay and it was great! Just like last time we had a great time. One beach/water day and a couple windy cool days. No matter the weather it was a perfect week-end.Plenty of room in the house and on the grounds for everyone. Nice neighbors, and exceptional communication with the owners. Thank You!!

Amazing

Perfect spot for our family of 13 - 6 adults and 7 children! Plenty of space for everyone and we felt like we had the lake to ourselves. The neighbors were super friendly and helpful - Johnny Sasquatch across the street was awesome and Jim next door even shared some veggies from his garden. Grandkids all got to fish for the first time and loved it! Everyone caught at least one fish! The extra fridge was so appreciated as we shopped for the week and there was plenty of room for groceries. Would definitely recommend for a family getaway!

This was at least our 6th stay here, staying the same weekend many times. Barely 90 minutes from the eastern side of the Twin Cities makes it accessible for all our family members. Neighbors are friendly and helpful. The lake is small and quiet. Boat rentals are available nearby.

Family Vibe

This is the second time we've stayed at this location and we plan to go back again next year. The home and the outside area are wonderful for a simple, quiet family vacation. The neighbors were so welcoming to our family. And the shallow lake and the flat backyard were just perfect for the young children. Thanks for a great vacation!

Family Time

We had a wonderful time together with plenty of room. The three bathrooms are great!! The weather did not cooperate but we still had fun! There is a nice park in town that the kids really enjoy. We also got family pictures in!!!

Great place for a family stay!

The home was as described on the listing, but even better when we walked in! The kitchen is very nice with plenty of counter space and places to store all our food. It also has a smaller additional fridge which we appreciated. With 2 tables for eating and/or playing games we all had plenty of room. The living room was also a great place to relax with a nice sized sectional couch. Bedroom spaces worked perfect for us and the kids loved the bunk beds. Backyard with the fire ring, view and dock was perfect. Nice shallow area for the kids to play in the water. Very friendly neighborhood. Would for sure stay here again.

Perfect for book retreat

My friends and I stayed at the property for a weekend in February. There was plenty of space for the 8 of us to hang out and read, eat together, and sleep. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen is lacking a few items (full set of measuring cups, spatula) but otherwise had everything we needed to make our meals. Loved that there were two fridges! Overall we had an excellent time here and would return in the future!

Bachelorette Weekend

This property was the perfect location for a bachelorette trip. The house comfortably slept 15 ladies (we did bring one air mattress for people who didn’t like sharing beds) and had plenty of room for cooking and eating together. Beautiful location on the lake and close enough to towns for shopping, eating, bars. I would stay here again!

Labor day weekend family vacation

the property is a great place for a family vacation. The lake is nice for swimming and fishing. The house has lots of room for adults and kids. This was our second time here and we plan on coming back again.

Family-friendly

Our family had a great time at this property. There was plenty of space for everyone inside and outside of the house. The beach was great and the lake was perfect for swimming, kayaking, and tubing. I gave this property 4 stars because my family was hoping to catch some fish. We caught tons of tiny fish (which was super fun for the little kids in our group), but nothing we were able to keep. Obviously this is not the property manager’s fault, but it was a bummer for us and is worth noting for other potential renters. Also, the property seems to have a fly problem. There were so many flies in the house. Other than those issues, the place is great!

Family Vacation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! There were plenty of activities for all 3 generations! We enjoyed swimming from the beach, fishing off the dock, and tubing from the boat we rented! Not to mention grilling out each night and chilling by the bonfire! Plenty of space for sleeping and quiet time too! We would definitely recommend this listing to families and would stay here again!!!

Lots of birds on this lake.

We enjoyed Lake Mary in a rented pontoon boat and had the lake to ourselves most of the time. We saw lots of birds on the lake including Loons, Pelicans, Cranes and even Canada Geese. The sand beach was shallow enough for young children. We enjoyed the fire pit by the lakeshore. The house gave us plenty of room for a large family gathering.

Great Minnesota Visit

Roomy house that fit our 15 family members well. We do a lot of cooking and the kitchen was great. Spacious and well designed. The multiple eating areas inside and out, had kids and adults enjoying outside air. The lake was quiet and great for kayak and inflated board fun.

Great set up. We had 11 in our group. Ages 5 to retirement. Water is very shallow which is good for kids. Very nice fire pit. Lots of outdoor chairs. You don’t need to bring yours. 2 full size tables for eating without crowding. This is our second stay here.
