Absolute Peace in a beautiful setting - north villa

This property is one of three villas set in an acre of private land covered with lots of trees, flowers and cactus. The villa has one bedroom and can accommodate up to 4 people, two in the bedroom and two in the living room. Quiet and spacious, laid out on two levels, "north villa" is the ideal accommodation for a couple or a family of four. The upper level has the master bedroom and an en-suit bathroom, as well as a balcony to watch your most memorable sunrises from. The ground level consists of a living room with a sofa that opens up in a very comfortable bed for two, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table for 6 people, and a bathroom with shower. The villa looks out to an airy and shady patio that overlooks the cactus garden. Sea views directly in front of you. Table and chairs and armchairs are provided for relaxing and enjoying a cold drink or having lunch or dinner outdoors. At the back side of the house, there is a second patio with mountain views covered by a vine. In September you can taste the grapes right off the tree. This second patio provides a comfortable day bed and a hammock for perfect relaxation. Barbecue on request. Tastefully decorated, the house will make you feel at home. Our purpose is to make guests feel that they move to their own holiday house in Santorini. The house has its own washing machine and an air-conditioning unit.
The villa is separate from the other two, so that each party of guests is not disturbed by the others. Perfect, though, for friends who travel together and want to be close but separate.
The houses are surrounded by one acre of land which carries pine, fig, lemon, vineyard, olive trees, and a huge collection of cactuses. When the time is right, our guests can taste the fruit right off the trees. Just outside our walls there is three tiny white washed chapels which our visitors are free to visit. Free parking on our property.
Located in the country side in the middle of the distance between the two main centres of the island, Fira and Oia, we have easy and quick access to both Fira and Oia. You will need your own transportation. Both Fira and Oia are only a 10 minute drive from the villa. Santorini is a small island and nothing is too far.
Right down our driveway there is a small resort with a swimming pool and a restaurant. Our guests are welcome to use their facilities.
At walking distance from the house, there is a small secluded sandy beach perfect for children.
Check in time is flexible. Early check-in is possible if there is no other guest checking out the same day. Also late check-in is possible. Late check-out is possible if there is no other guest checking in the same day. When you arrive, I will here to welcome you and give you the keys and all the information you need about the house and the island.

Stunning sunrise.

We have had lovely stay at Anna's and Nicos's place. The description of the property is very accurate. You will need a car to visit places but everything is reachable within short drive. Anna and Nicos are genuine, kind people, eager to make your stay enjoyable. Thank you.

Beautiful, quiet retreat

This property is a gem. Very clean and the owners are very responsive. It is nicely located away from the hustle and bustle of Oia and Fira, but with a few minutes of both. The owners gave us great local tips on where to get the best sunset views and the best restaurants. They were so helpful. This is a great spot on Santorini!

I really liked the ample parking and the view and the hosts were nice but the ad is deceiving. It's definitely not a separate villa. it's an appartment in a fourplex with no privacy. I was up two out of four nights listenning to kids running up and down and slamming doors

Perfect Spot in Santorini

Before you blow your money on the overpriced stays to see the views, give this place a try. No matter where you are on the island, you can’t help but to see beautiful views. The important thing to consider is having a calm, cool, clean, organized place to call home for the few days. The place is equivalent to what we Americans call a townhouse. 2 bed 2 full baths 2 stories. Back porch, front porch, and lots of room to park. 10 minutes from the airport, 25 minutes from the port, 10 minutes from Fira/thira, 12 minutes from Oia, an easy 30-35 minute drive down to Perrissa beach. The owners here care about your comfort. They put a lot of effort into the stay: tv, Wi-Fi, full amenities, pots, pans, you name it. It’s really clean as well. Day 1 when you arrive, they’ll map out the whole island for you. Trust me. It made the planning a lot more manageable. I will totally recommend this place - Solely on the fact - - I really felt like family here. I felt like I was visiting my favorite Uncle. Lol

De North Villa is een prachtige vakantiewoning. Een soort twee onder één kap. Heel gezellig ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Schitterend uitzicht op zee en een mooi aangelegde cactustuin. Goede bedden en prima airconditioning. De woning was keurig schoongemaakt. We werden enthousiast ontvangen door de eigenaar Nikos. Hij woont in het andere blokje vant wee woningen. Nikos vindt het een genoegen om alles te vertellen over de mooiste plekjes en restaurants van Santorini.De sfeer rondom de woning is relax, rust, genieten! Heerlijke stoelen, kussens en grote parasol.Alle bezienswaardigheden zijn makkelijk met de auto bereikbaar. Supermarkten dichtbij. Vlakbij de woning parkeren. Ruimte genoeg.We kunnen het iedereen aanbevelen.

Cactus heaven

Honestly one of the best vrbo experiences we’ve had the hosts are amazing and super knowledgeable, LOVED the fact that we were far from the chaos but super close to everything the hosts know what they’re doing and made us feel super welcomed the villa is perfect and had everything you need. Our favorite part was the relaxing bed seating in the back of the villa, especially late at night enjoying the breeze. Will definitely come back to this hidden gem whenever we’re back in santorini. Thank you Anna and nikos!

Gemütliches Haus in ruhiger Lage

Verkehrstechnisch gut gelegen Haus mit großem schönen Kakteengarten. ideal für 2 Personen und abseits des Touristentrubels. Von hier aus sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell zu erreichen. Wir wurden von den Gastgebern sehr herzlich empfangen. Uns wurden alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, gute Lokale zum Essen und Informationen zur Insel mitgeteilt. Wir verbrachten einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub.

Das Haus liegt auf einem großen Grundstück. Insgesamt gibt es vier Häuser. Nebenan wohnen die Vermieter. Anna und Nikos sind die besten Vermieter, die man sich nur wünschen kann!! Auf dem Grundstück gibt es eine umfangreiche Kakteensammlung. Ans Meer läuft man 5 Minuten. Alle Inselorte erreicht man innerhalb 30 Minuten.

Great place in a quiet area

This is a great little house that keeps you away from the hub of all that is Santorini. You can easily get to Oia or Fira in under 15 minutes, yet you have access to the whole island in 20 minutes- without the traffic. The hosts were awesome and gave us great recommendations. The house was very nicely equipped and you couldn't ask for a more serene vacation!

Muy recomendable, tranquilidad y buena acogida

El apartamento está en un área muy tranquila, con una colina a la espalda y mirando al mar, a 7 min a pie, a mitad de camino entre Oia y Fira, dos puntos neurálgicos en cuanto a servicios y atractivo (o sea, aglomeración) turística. Las playas, viniendo de España, no son un atractivo de entrada, hasta que te acostumbras a la arena gruesa y negra, o bien piedras, y no te desanimas por los días de viento que erizan el mar, y encuentras las que te satisfacen (en nuestro caso, una más salvaje ha sido Red Beach y sobretodo una pequeña a su derecha que hay que descubrir a pie, y Perissa, con excelentes servicios de hamacas y parasoles, que son gratuitos si te regalas unas frescas ensaladas con zumos de frutas deliciosos, o unos arroces con marisco, por un precio muy atractivo viniendo de España. Aguas cristalinas. Volviendo al tema de este apartamento, sus casas colindantes, todas del mismo estilo griego de las islas, están a unos cientos de metros, o sea que la tranquilidad está asegurada. Anna y Niko, sus propietarios, son una muy agradable pareja de mediana edad, que viven en uno de los cuatro apartamentos ubicados en dos casas adosadas, muy bien aisladas acústicamente. Han sido muy atentos y ayudadores, a la par que respetuosos y discretos. El estado del apartamento era excelente, al igual que la limpieza, el agua caliente y, muy importante, el aire acondicionado en cada piso. El apartamento es muy luminoso, con vistas a tres vientos, ventanas que aíslan bien térmicamente y porticones que garantizan total oscuridad. A destacar lo bien cuidado que Niko tiene el jardín, con árboles frutales de la isla (higueras, granado,..) y vegetación de cactus variados con piedra volcánica, más el mobiliario de exterior para disfrutarlo. El mobiliario interior es correcto y funcional (IKEA), bien mantenido, y la decoración sencilla y agradable para muchos estilos de usuarios. Además, la casa dispone, a vuestra llegada, de todos esos pequeños detalles que se agradecen en estancias cortas: aceite, sal y azúcar, jabón de manos, ducha, vajillas y ropa, té y café, etc, Os recomiendo que pidáis específicamente las características del apartamento que vais a alquilar, e incluso el nombre, pues son distintos y así iréis sobre seguros que a última hora no haya un cambio imprevisto y no tengáis lo que precisáis - distribución de camas, lavadora o no, ... Si os decidís, disfrutad las memorables puestas de sol al lado oeste de la isla, a 10 min en coche !!

A wonderful place to stay

We loved this house. It was very central yet remote and quiet, away from the hustle around the bigger towns. The house is beautiful and clean. The owner was incredibly helpful when we arrived by showing us her favorite places to visit on the island. Her recommendation of the vegan restaurant on the northern tip was exquisite. I watched the sunrise from the front deck. Fantastic place!

Beautiful property and kind hosts

My family and I stayed in Anna and Nikos' property. It was absolutely lovely and spacious. It was a quiet oasis in Santorini that is easily accessible to all parts of the island. Nikos and Ana were great hosts as well!

Relaxing and authentic

We stayed in Oia for 4 days and loved everything about it. The property is spacious (for two people), quiet and super relaxing. The location could not be better for us, it is very private and quiet with easy access to the main tourist destinations (Fira and Oia). However you will need a car. DRiving in Santorini is easy and parking was not a proble. There are a few local taverns (within 10 min drive) with authentic food which we preferred to larger restaurants in Fira and Oia. Nichos and Anna were very helpful, accommodating and generous. We definitely would recommend it.

I was born in Pireas the port of Athens. I have made Santorini my home for the last 30 years. A few years back, I bought four houses by the sea. I rent the three and live in the fourth one. In the winter when there is hardly any tourist movement in Santorini I travel a lot. Always I choose to stay in a private house. I have a long experience as a tourist so I think I can be a real good host. Living in Santorini for 30 years I have come to know every small corner of the island. Information that I love to share with my guests.

Santorini tends to be quite crowded in the summer months. Hotel rooms are small with tiny outdoor space. In my villa you will have peacefulness and lots of space. I have put extra care in furnishing and decorating my houses so that my guests feel they stay in their own summer house in Santorini.

If you are a cactus enthusiast you will love my garden. Specially when they bloom, they are magnificent. Apart from the cactus, you can taste apricots, grapes and figs right off the trees.
