Paddlestop House is a beautifully refurbished, detached holiday home offering the perfect blend of modern comfort and coastal charm. Ideally located just a short walk from Sheringham's award‑winning beach, independent shops, cafés, and the train station, this stylish property is an excellent choice for families, groups, and multi‑generation stays. With 4 generous bedrooms, 3 modern bathrooms, and a large open‑plan kitchen‑diner, the house comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests. Thoughtful touches, high‑quality furnishings, and a warm, homely atmosphere make this one of Sheringham's most desirable holiday rentals.
Front door leading into the spacious hall with staircase, doors to Lounge: with 39" HD Smart TV and DVD player, comfortable sofas, two armchairs, bay window and fireplace with woodburner. Open plan kitchen/diner: with large table to seat 8, patio doors leading out to the rear courtyard garden, door to Utility Room: with washing machine, fridge with freezer box and sink. Step up to the Kitchen: with induction hob and double electric oven, microwave, fridge with freezer box and dishwasher. Shower Room: walk in shower cubicle, WC, and washbasin. Twin bedroom: with 2 single beds (can be zipped together to create Kingsized bed – please advise upon booking if required), wardrobe. Staircase leading to first floor landing, with door to Principal Double bedroom: with Kingsized bed with Smart TV, feature fireplace, wardrobe and Ensuite: with shower cubicle, WC and Washbasin. Twin bedroom: with 2 single beds, wardrobe and feature fireplace. Double bedroom: with Kingsize bed, Smart TV and wardrobe. Single bedroom: with single bed. Family bathroom: with bath, corner shower cubicle, WC and washbasin.
Outside: Rear courtyard garden with decking and a few steps. Outside table and chairs.
Please note: High chair, travel cot (please bring own bedding) and stair gate provided (please request upon booking). 2 x Small, well behaved pets welcome @ £20.00 per week. Location: beach 0.2 miles, cafes and shops a 3-minute stroll. Train station a 5-minute walk.

Paddlestop House is a lovely holiday home. The owners have clearly put a great deal of care into the property and it genuinely feels like a home away from home. So many little thoughtful touches in every room - thoroughly recommend staying here!

Home from home

A lovely modern house well situated for both shops and beach. It was very comfortable with space for all the family both inside and out, the large outside space has several seating areas as well as a large dining table. There was a good supply of crockery, glassware and cutlery which isn't always the case in rental properties!

First class holiday accommodation

Paddlestop is an extremely good holiday home. It was very clean and there was a welcome pack which meant we didn’t have to go to the shops immediately The outside space was very good with plenty of garden furniture. We were lucky enough to have unusually great weather!!!

Luxurious accommodation in a perfect position. Owners have thought of everything and provided little extras which were so thoughtful. We have travelled extensively and it met all our expectations. 10/10. Highly recommend it.

Family gathering

The house was perfect for a family gathering from around the country. The kitchen diner was large enoughh to accomodate all for games and eating. Having a downstairs bedroom was a plus for the less agile. The house was so warm on this bitterly cold weekend

Two weeks at Paddlestop

Lovely property, very nearly perfect for us. Pretty much everything supplied that we would need, and some welcome food and toiletry supplies on arrival was nice. Property was nice and spacious, and those that can’t tackle the relatively steep stairs can use the downstairs twin bedroom which is handy. Small negatives were that better wifi could be installed and the addition of a tumble dryer (and/or outside washing line) as we did stay for two weeks, and the property would be pretty much spot on for all.

Very high spec large house in an ideal location

Paddlestop house was the best holiday cottage we have stayed in for being very well equipped, tasteful décor, number of bathrooms and overall ambience. The road had easy parking for our extra car. The road is parallel to Sheringham high street and it's not much further to the sea. The only problem we had was the numerous air fresheners which caused two of our party to have asthma attacks. They were hidden everywhere e.g inside the TV unit, behind a jug in the corner of the Welsh dresser etc etc. In one bedroom there were six!

Thank you for your review, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay and we have taken on board your comments about the air freshners in the house and have now reduced them to 1 by the entrance and 1 in the bathroom.

April family holiday

A clean, well equipped, well located house. Everything we needed for a lovely holiday. The generous welcome pack was an added bonus. We have stayed at numerous locations in and around Sheringham in the past, but this was by far the best ! We look forward to going again sometime.

October half term

We stayed for the first week of the October half term with our 13 year old son and our English Springer Spaniel. It was the first holiday we have had in Norfolk and it will not be our last. Hopefully we can stay at Paddlestop House again as cannot fault it. The house is in a great location only a few minutes walk to the shops,pubs,restaurants and beach. The house it self has everything one could wish for-it was extremely clean ,beds very comfortable ,the decor is beautiful and absolutely love the artwork. The little touches such as the bread,butter,jam,milk and a bottle of wine in fridge for our arrival was extremely thoughtful especially after a long slow drive on a Friday night out of London-Dog treats also went down well Would highly recommend Paddlestop House

Fantastic short break
