Great location Steps from Trevi Fountain A few blocks from a great restaurants Easy walk to the Colosseum in Spanish, Steps, and even the Vatican The host was absolutely fantastic and we are best buddies now

Amazing location

Location couldn’t be better. 100 feet from Trevi fountain. Dunia was a great host and her apartment manager Andrea was great. Would definitely go back.

Great place

This is a great place to stay that is super close to the Trevi Fountain. The street where the apartment is located is super busy and was a little noisy but once in the apartment we didn’t hear anything. It was super quiet. The door to access the apartment is kind of discreet and it’s a little bit of a maze to get back to the apartment once through that door. This includes a narrow set of stairs that can be a little tricky with your luggage. There ceilings in certain areas are a little low and I found myself (6’1”) ducking a lot to avoid hitting my head. Beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. We also had an early flight upon departure. We used a company (Globetrotter) right around the corner to schedule a private transport to the airport. There are a lot of great restaurants and gelato shops everywhere. We would definitely stay here again.

Many Hostels Are Cleaner

When you arrive, be ready to walk through what looks like an abandoned building, up dangerous steps, and smelly vapor clouds to get to your door. Then when you walk in, every piece of furniture and appliance is cheap and broken. They provide you with half a roll of toilet paper, half a roll of paper towels, missing cookware, and a total of 6 forks. You also get to live with the thumping of the restaurant music below every night until midnight. The property isn't cleaned and maintained. Examples include: (1) mildew and mold in the showers and all over the glass enclosure of the showers, (2) my suitcase collected a thick layer of dust from me just putting it on the ground, (3) broken appliances and items throughout. Other than them dropping off the keys, don't expect any service. I made a simple request due to an issue with the property to the host, Dunia Molina, on Friday. She said she would be busy during the weekend and would get to it on Monday. On Monday, she didn't return my texts and ghosted me. I never heard from her again. The location is 50 steps from the Trevi Fountain. While central and close to a tourist site, expect constant traffic and crowds.
