Exceptional host/space/neighborhood/value!
If Marco isn't already a premier host, he should be. Going above and beyond accommodating my check in and check out time requests he was also always available and attentive. He "presented" his home instead of handing off the key or textiing me a lock box code. That alone made the stay worthwhile! And the house....amazing! Upon arriving to the cute, blue two story home on a quiet and nicely kept residential street my first impression was "simply charming." There is a private driveway and a small, well landscaped front yard that frames the house with palms and even a pomegranate tree! Upon entering my eyes were drawn to the white spiral staircase and the expansive open concept living/dining/kitchen areas. The house did not look so big from the outside. There is a huge flat screen up on the wall and large, plump grey couches forming a U-shape in front of the tv. As I looked around Marco was the first host on any platform who pointed out the security cameras and which had been disconnected prior to my arrival. Then he handed over access to the front facing security camera to me so I could see when the delivery man arrived or where my cat was if she happeed to get out and of course she did!
I then asked if by chance there was a bedroom downstairs and Marco quickly pointed out not just one, but three bedrooms all on the first level. Mine had an ensuite bathroom and outside laundry area making doing that a breeze. I never once had to use the dining table to fold my clothes! The bedrooms in the back are also just far enough away so if someone wants to stay up a little later and watch tv it shouldn't bother the older folks who have to go to bed early. There is also another full bathroom so there will be no tiptoing through someones room in the event a late night bathroom trip is needed. The third bedroom is in front (beyond the home office!) that is next to a large kitchen that has everything. What I really got a kick out of was being able to see the tv from the kitchen, or the breakfast bar that seperates the spaces. The dining room has seating for eight or more and a waterwall feature! After taking all that in I ventured upstairs to see what was there. OMG, another living space, or family room, with large screen tv. Beyond that was a full size blue pool table with appropriate wall decor. Then I went out to the ENORMOUS OUTDOOR PRIVATE TERRACE!
Other pros: comfortable beds, high speed internet, great cable package, did I mention the smart home features?
