Outdoors and swimming pool
The property has 2000 sq. m. of completely fenced garden, mostly lawn with tall trees, plants and shaded bushes which contribute to create a particularly comfortable atmosphere in which to relax. The pool is in this garden and measures 12 metres by 6 with a depth of 1.5m. There is a bathing area with sunbeds and a cold water shower. Guests can use a covered panoramic loggia on one side of the house with a table, chairs, a stonework barbecue and wood-burning stove ideal for outdoor dinners. Parking within the property.Interior
The farmhouse has recently been restored, whilst maintaining its traditional aspects like wood beams, cotto and stone walls, creating the magical atmosphere of an old Tuscan farmhouse. The furniture and utensils are characteristic of a country house. The main entrance, on the ground floor, leads to a spacious living room with a TV, fireplace, double sofa bed and direct outdoor access. The cooking area is next to the living room and is fully-equipped, with a table for 6 persons. Guests will then find a double bedroom, one bedroom with two beds (with a high window overlooking the double bedroom), one bathroom with shower.

Location
The farmhouse is immersed in the green Tuscan hills (700 metres above sea level) which overlook the beautiful woods of Monte Amiata. There is a great view of the surrounding countryside, which changes its colours every season. Il Podere il just 2,5 km from Abbadia San Salvatore which takes its name from an ancient Benedictine abbey, founded in the first half of the 700s.

There are many possibilities for cultural and food and wine outings towards Tuscany (Siena, Arezzo, Florence) and Umbria (Assisi, Perugia, Lake Trasimeno). The Chianti area is about a two hour’s drive away, and for those who love walks in the woods, there is Monte Amiata.
