Nice place, well equipped with spectacular views. Remote and off grid. Allow for time in car required to explore island, including daily mountain-driving commute to access main road. Need to watch small children and headlamps were recommended for night time.

Dreamlike oasis

Nice, sweet all you need! We had a great time and were flashed by the great view. Every morning sunrise from bed and breakfast in front of the ocean. It‘s a lil rustical but so sweet and lovely!

A beautiful house with an amazing view!

A beautiful property built into the cliffs with a most spectacular view! The house is well appointed and only a short drive to Nordeste where there is a good butcher, fishmonger and mini mart. We loved the feeling of being so close to the sea and to nature. Alain was a lovely host giving us lots of tips. All in all an amazing place to stay!

Wonderfull house with amazing view

This place is truly amazing. A short walk from the parkingspace (100 meters) brings you to the house that is built on the rocks above the ocean. The view is impressive. The house has everything you need and is very well suited for working as well as relaxing. Even the bed has a sea view. We definitely hope to return some time.

A jewel at the end of the world

We had a wonderful stay. Very relaxing in a breathtaking nature! The terrace is an oasis and Alain is very friendly and helpful. The house is very well equipped also for kids. Only the bathroom wasn't that nice. Nevertheless a little paradise and we are very thankful for this greatful holidays. 5⭐

Secluded paradise with incredible sea view!

If you are looking for a quiet place by the sea to get away from it all and recharge your batteries, this is the ideal spot! It's truly magical to stay so close to the sea and wake up to the sunrise over the ocean. The house is remote but the size of the island allows you to explore the whole island from there. Fantastic view, spartan conditions

The view is beyond incredible, however we struggled with lack of hot water (you have to wait for it for 5 minutes and then it would last for 3 minutes) so it was impossible to take hot shower and we had to heat water on the stove and in the kettle - old fashion way. It was a bit cold inside in April. The new addition to the original house (kitchen with the grill, sunroom with the huge ottaman)

Away from it all...

Away from it all, this house is a perfect escape. With nothing but the ocean in front of you, it is the ultimate relaxation experience. The stars at night are breathtaking. The house itself is well designed, and has everything you need. The kitchen is very well equipped and is clearly designed with much love. The inside grill is perfect for the fresh local fish. The outside terrace is big and very comfortable, many happy hours there. The outside shower (there is also an inside one) with the view of the ocean is a touch of genius. Thank you to the owners for sharing this magical spot with us.

A place to unwind and view the stars

The house is located on the eastern edge of Sao Miguel. The view of the ocean, gorgeous coastline, and the stars at night are spectacular. It is a bit of a drive to get places, so pack sufficient food. The house is rustic and situated in the middle of lush vegetation, so expect some "natural" elements in the house. The outside deck is fabulous for lounging or eating on warm nights. The house has everything you need, including a washing machine. There are quite a few steps to climb to get to the parking area. The house is isolated and very quiet, a great place for truly unwinding.

You will never find this again, anywhere

The steps from the parking lot to the front door are a challenge, but I’m 70 and I did it. The reward is an experience you will never duplicate anywhere else. The waves crash against the shore 10 feet from your head as you lay in bed. Sounds trite, but you are truly one with nature. There is no one else around. Just you. Both daunting and glorious at the same time.

Mein persönlicher Traumort direkt am Meer mit einem unglaublichen Blick auf das Meer und stetigem Meeresrauschen. DieUnterkunft ist etwas abgelegen. Die Küche und die gesamte Unterkunft waren sehr gut und liebevoll eingerichtet. Zugang zum Bad gibt es es nur über das eine Schlafzimmer. Das sollte man wissen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Haus steht an einer Steilküste mit Blick direkt auf den Atlantik. Man hört nur das Meer und den Silbernen Sturmtaucher, der dort brütet. Es ist gut ausgestattet und bietet ausreichend Platz für eine Familie. Der Gastgeber war bei Rückfragen schnell und gut zu erreichen. Wer die Natur mag, wird sich dort wohl fühlen. Für mich war es ein kleines Paradies.
