Everything went smoothly

We arrived early and the house was being cleaned, but we were allowed to leave our luggage and even a few things on the fridge. The location is perfect for the thermal baths; however, we were most interested in the natural Caldeiras (22 min by foot). A Spar supermarket is a few minutes by foot. There is a small river flowing right by the terrace and a beautiful green plot with cows just opposite. Very quiet place, spacious house, very comfortable. Maybe the room with the 4 bed is a little bit cramped, but you can leave the luggage on the lower floor, which is large enough.I would come back!

Localização excelente

Casa com excelente localização, perfeita para familias ou pequeno grupo de amigos, os gestores foram excelentes ao nos suprienderem com alguns alimentos para a fase inicial, a casa está muito bem equipada, recomendo obrigado aos gestores mais uma vez.

Comfortable and convenient

Everything here was comfortable and welcoming from the beds to the provisions kindly left for us by the host, to the babbling stream behind the backyard sitting area.

Très bonne localisation

Petite maison idéalement située pour rayonner sur l'Ile de Sao Miguel, à l'écart de l'agitation de Ponta Delgada. Les équipements sont suffisants pour des vacances relax. Les sources d'eaux chaudes juste à côté sont très appréciables en nocturne pour décontracter les mollets après les randonnées autour des cratères. Seul bémol : les matelas des lits sont un peu fatigués et mériteraient d'être remplacés ! Le logement est d'une propreté irréprochable et une personne vient faire le ménage au moins une fois par semaine

Nice to visit Furnas but very uncomfortable stay. House was very damp. Towels never got dry. Clothes became damp. WiFi doesn't work at all. No hot water in upstairs bathroom. Shower is very inadequate.

A beautiful home in a fantastic location to visit the sights on the island

My friend and I stayed for 6 days and absolutely loved this home. The back garden is next to a small stream, which meant for soothing sounds through our open windows each night. The house was in a great location, a two minute walk to the thermal springs. The home was clean and tidy and quaint. We loved that we could look into a very small pasture to see cows and goats grazing, but still be in the town in walking distance of restaurants, groceries, coffee shops and more. We would stay here again!

Personne pour nous accueillir ni vu personne pendant le séjour, pas d'instructions pratiques pour la maison, chambres exigues, équipements moyens. Rien à dire pour la propreté. Maison très sonore. Seul point positif : la proximité des bains de Dona Beija.

Nice house in a nice town

We had a very nice short February holiday. We were there with 2 adults and 2 kids. The house is not very big for 4 people, but if you are looking to explore the island and you are gone most of the time this house is very nice. It's near the hot springs (both park and the one in the street) which we did 3 times in a week. The best part however, is the service of Abel. He welcomed us upon arrival at the airport (23:30!!) and he also handled the administration for the rental car, which went absolutely fluent. :) Thanks again for your great service!

Wonderful House Good Location

We stayed at this house for 5 days. Everything about it is great. Good location (just a short walk to the hot pools for an evening swim). Restaurants down the street, grocery store in the same block, coffee in the mornings was only a 2 minute walk. The house is a couple of blocks away from the trail that goes around Lake Furnas. I would definitely stay here again.

Férias na Casa da Beija

Eu juntamente com os meus pais, em Março, passamos 3 dias nesta casa. Foi tudo excelente, o dono da casa encontrou-nos no aeroporto, foi muito simpático, explicou-nos e mostrou muitas coisas na Ilha. A minha mãe tem dificuldades ao andar e ainda bem que a casa fica perto das furnas. Todos os dias íamos lá. Foi tudo muito bom, gente muito simpática, água com 39º, apesar do mau tempo não nos incomodou. Voltaremos com muito gosto. Aconselho a todos.

Muito bom

Gostamos muito de tudo. Para passar uns dias de descanso é um sítio excelente, perto da fantástica Poça da Dona Beija. Passeamos pela ilha de dia, à noite relaxamos com um banho de águas medicinais a 39º C. O proprietário da casa é muito simpático e acessível. A relação qualidade/preço está perfeita. Pretendo voltar em 2016, para o mesmo sítio.

Petite maisonette très sympathique

Nous avons passé une semaine chez Sandra avec notre fille de 4 ans. La séjour a été très agréable. Furnas est vraiment un endroit paradisiaque. La maison est très bien située (juste à côté des bains de boca de dona beja). Sandra est une hôte très gentille et disponible. Elle nous a conduit depuis l'aéroport jusqu'à la maison. La literie gagnerait à être améliorée, je ne suis pas spécialement grand (1,81 cm) mais mes pieds dépassés du lit . Cela ne nous a pas empêché de beaucoup apprécié la maison et notre voyage aux Açores. Thomas, Clémentine et Cloé

Comfortable traditional house with nice atmosphere

In the centre of Furnas near parque terra Nostra. We liked the traditional touch of the house and enough space for four people. In advance we already had a good contact with the owner, he was very helpfull and gave us a lot of information. We recommend the house very much and liked the village of Furnas too.

The house was clean and comfortable with a lovely back patio with a barbecue. Abel is a most accommodating host! There is a car available for rent to his visitors for 20 euro a day. We needed a car for a few days beyond our stay in Furnas, and as it was available he allowed us to keep it the extra days although we were no longer his guests, and then drove us to the airport at the end of it! The house is a 30 second walk from the Poca da Dona Beija which makes it very convenient for soaking at the end of a long day of hiking around Furnas Lake and up to Pico do Ferro. We just walked over in our bathing suits, it was so close. Terra Nostra Park is also just a few minutes walk as is the rest of Furnas, with its stores, restaurants and cafes. Abel gave us many recommendations for anything we asked about including restaurants in Furnas and around the island. I would recommend Abel and his Casa do Beija to anyone looking to stay in Furnas.

Perfeita para famílias, com um ambiente acolhedor e o relaxante som da ribeira que passa nas traseiras da casa. Uma excelente localização com os serviços essenciais ali perto (mini mercado, posto de abastecimento de combustível, farmácia e restaurantes), próxima dos pontos turísticos de maior interesse. Os senhorios sempre atenciosos e disponíveis, que até nos cederam um berço de bebé que não consta na descrição dos moveis disponibilizados. Até uma próxima Família Vaz
