very nice flat, very well located, esp for people traveling with public transport;walking distance to all major points of interest, many good Shops, Bars and Restaurants nearby;some odd details: pell-mell cutlery and dishes, old knives, no rubbish bins and almost no furniture to store luggage or clothes

Stylish flat in a quiet location

We spent four nights here and felt very comfortable.The city centre is within walking distance, a supermarket, a fruit and vegetable shop and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. The flat is invitingly designed and very well equipped. We did miss rubbish bins and a wardrobe, but there are fly screens in front of the windows!Persons with reduced mobility should note that the flat is not barrier-free (top floor, no lift).The public transport connections are very good, so that we were mobile even without a car.We had a very good time in Trieste, thank you very much!

Cosy apartment near the city center

The apartment was impeccably clean, new, and very well-equipped. It featured beautiful flooring and a fully stocked kitchen. The check-in process was contactless and very well organized. The host was supportive, communicated in English, and was easy to reach. Parking options include street parking right in front of the building, or free parking at the port, which is a five-minute walk away. The apartment is conveniently located close to the city center, as well as many cafes and restaurants. I would definitely love to return.

Schön eingerichtete, großzügige Ferienwohnung in günstiger Lage

Wir haben zu zweit fünf Nächte in Triest verbracht, um uns die Stadt und die Umgebung anzusehen. Die Ferienwohnung liegt günstig, ganz in der Nähe des Sportboothafens. Um die Wohnung herum kann man mit etwas Glück einen kostenlosen Parkplatz finden, eventuell muss man etwas suchen. Die Wohnung ist im obersten Geschoss eines Altbaus, was 113 Treppenstufen bedeutet, wenn man hinaufsteigt. Wer nicht gut zu Fuß ist, sollte das berücksichtigen. Das Stadtzentrum ist fußläufig gut erreichbar, eine Bushaltestelle ist direkt um die Ecke. Es gibt reichlich Gestronomieangebote und einen großen Supermarkt. Gut gefallen hat uns: - die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll renoviert und eingerichtet- das Bett ist bequem- die Wohnung ist insgesamt großzügig und nicht beengt (naja, das Bad ist nicht riesig) - gutes Platzangebot - es gibt eine Spülmaschine und eine Waschmaschine- die Küche ist vollständig ausgestattetNicht so gut gefallen hat uns / Verbesserungswürdig: - kein WIFI (!!!!!)- nur italienische Fernsehprogramme (da kein WIFI)- kein Vorhang am Küchenfenster, dadurch freier Blick in den nicht so dekorativen Innenhof- kein einziger Mülleimer in der Wohnung, obwohl in Triest Mülltrennung herrscht und wir auch gebeten wurden, unseren Müll passend zu entsorgen- der kleinste Fön der Welt (den man nicht benutzen soll)Zusammenfassend: Mit kleineren Korrekturen würde die Wohnung ihrem Anspruch gerecht ("luxury attic"). Insgesamt empfehlenswert.

Geschmackvolle, zentral gelegene Wohnung

Wir haben uns zu einem zweiwöchigen Sprachkurs in Triest aufgehalten. Nach anstrengendem Unterricht war diese Wohnung ein echtes Zuhause für uns. Barbara ist eine sehr zugewandte Gastgeberin. Alles was man braucht, findet sich fußläufig. Trotz der zentralen Lage ist die Wohnung sehr ruhig. Uns störte die Lage im 4. Stock ohne Aufzug nicht. Menschen mit motorischen Handicaps sollten dies bei der Buchung beachten.

Good place but a few issues could use improvement

Nice apartment and good location, but the check in could be better. If you come early you will be charged 50 euros - and because of unclear directions we waited 45 minutes outside while someone was waiting inside for us; we weren't told the apartment that we were supposed to buzz. Also, the listing should mention that you have to climb a lot of stairs to get to the top. And, there was not a single garbage pail - we had to improvise. These issues should be easy to fix, which would make it a good place to stay (for people who can manage those stairs)

Barbara's lovely place in Trieste

Myself and 2 friends were heading out to Trieste to start our cruise and decided to spend a few extra days. Barbara's place is modern (newly renovated), clean, and is a 3 min walk to Trieste's charming waterfront. There's grocery shopping closeby, an 8 min walk to the cruise ship port, 10 min walk to the heart of Trieste, museums, piazzas, restuarants, etc. If you have heavy luggage you'll have to contend with 5 flights of stairs - its at the top - agh! But this is typical in Italy. Barbara is responsive and helpfful. She even gave us tips on things to do!! Thanks for a great stay Barbara!

Great location

Overall, I would rate this between 4 and 5 starts. I just checked the listing, and it was accurate. However, I wish that the place had Wi-Fi. This is my recommendation. The place was clean and comfortable. The host was accommodating and very communicative with me on my late check in. Host was very responsive and very nice. I enjoyed staying here.

Schönes Dachgeschossapoartment in Hafennähe

Das Appartment ist frisch und sehr hochwertig modernisiert, ein Dachgeschoss in einem schönen , alten Gebäude. Alles sehr gut Fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Appartment an sich ist sehr ruhig und friedlich, die Straßengeräusche bei geöffnetem Fenster laut, aber es gibt auch eine gut funktionierende Aircondition und wenn die Fenster geschlossen sind, ist es ruhig. Barbara ist super freundlich und herzlich und hat immer sehr schnell reagiert. Uns hat nur ein Wasserkocher gefehlt, sonst alles top und sehr zu empfehlen, danke!

Beautiful apartment, good location!

The apartment looks newly renovated. It’s very clean and nice. It is on the top floor with lots of stairs - lots of walking. The Air condition was a huge plus! Very good location. We could walk to many places. Very pleasant home owner- smooth check-in/out.
