Inside, you’ll find a spacious master bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, and an additional bedroom.
Quiet three-room apartment located in a historic building on a quiet side street off Viale XX Settembre, a very famous pedestrian thoroughfare in the city center lined with bars and shops.
Inside, the apartment features a spacious master bedroom with a closet, safe, desk, bedside lamp, and outlets near the bed; a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, washing machine, toaster, kettle, scale, blender, juicer, and coffee maker; a cozy bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink, and dispensers for shampoo, body wash, and hand soap; and an additional room serving as a living room with a sofa bed for one person, a closet, satellite TV, and a beautiful loft bed for an additional person. Both bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans, and all the windows in the rooms—including the kitchen—are fitted with Venetian blinds and blackout curtains. Before entering the apartment—after climbing three flights of stairs without an elevator (the steps are not very high)—you’ll arrive at a typical “Trieste-style” balcony, as well as a very charming small communal terrace with a small table where you can enjoy a traditional spritz.
Guests will have exclusive use of the entire apartment.
How to get here:
- By car: Since the street where the apartment’s entrance is located is in a restricted traffic zone (restricted traffic zone) and therefore cars are not allowed to enter, please leave your car in the loading/unloading zone on Via Crispi in the immediate vicinity, unload your luggage, and then look for parking nearby. There are paid parking spaces marked with blue lines (€12 per day), or you may be able to find some free parking in the area between Via Crispi and Via Ginnastica if you’re lucky.
- By train: The Trieste Centrale train station is a 12-minute walk from the apartment; alternatively, there are numerous buses that will take you near the apartment.
- By plane: Ronchi dei Legionari Airport is 40 km from the apartment. As soon as you exit the airport, you’ll see the train that, for €4.60, will take you to the central station in 30 minutes, from where
all the buses mentioned above depart.

- The apartment has a special arrangement offering an excellent 10% discount on breakfast and/or an aperitif at the famous “Pipolo” bar and gelateria, a 1-minute walk from the apartment right in the heart of Viale XX Settembre.
- On Viale XX Settembre, there are two very good pizzerias, including San Gennà and Pizzeria da Michele, as well as pubs like Hamerica’s and Boston Pub.
In the city center, there are some well-known traditional Trieste taverns and trattorias, including:
Pepi Sciavo and Mamma Rosa, where you can enjoy the famous sandwich with cooked ham in a warm bread crust, served with mustard and horseradish, just a 20-minute walk away.
