Lanzahost "Carmenes Dreams"

Carmenes Dreams is a completely renovated top floor apartment with 2 double-bedrooms in the centre of Costa Teguise, just half a km from the famous Las Cucharas Beach.
It is fully equipped with kitchen, washing machine, Wi-Fi and has capacity for up to 4 people. The bathroom has a walk-in shower.

It is located on the second floor / upper floor of the private complex Los Carmenes accessible only with code. There is no other apartment above.

Terrace doors open to views of the communal pool, mountains and Lanzarote's beautiful afternoon sun.
A communal swimming pool offers the perfect space to take a dip on a hot day and soak up the sun.

Just outside the complex you will find several restaurants, bars, a supermarket and the Lanzarote Aquarium.

*This property has a security system installed, which includes cameras. These cameras are ONLY active to take snapshots (not record) when the alarm is activated. Use of the alarm is at the discretion of the guest. The cameras can easily be covered during your stay.

Mini break for four nights

Lovely property, very clean and all that we needed. Great location, near shops and restaurants. Only downfall were the steps we had to climb to get to our apartment. My husband struggled a bit. But overall highly recommended ,

Lovely property for a short stay. Too many steps for my hubby to get to our apartment. The pool area needs some TLC. The sun beds need replacing. Some of them broken. Very easy to book this apartment and good value but a few nights is long enough.

Superb apartment but .....

The apartment was excellent and very clean. The pool area is sheltered out of the wind but the pool itself was dirty so we saw no one using it. The balcony at the apartment is minute, which the photos don't make clear, and is north facing. The apartment is in an excellent location, easy walking distance from shops and restaurants. Please be aware that only the basics are supplied, two loo rolls, no shower gel etc - it would have been useful to have know this before we arrived.

Repleto de cucarachas

El apartamento tiene una plaga de cucarachas grandes, que salen sobre todo por las noches. Estubimos una semana, y tubimos que hacer frente a una media de 3 cucarachas por dia. Se lo comunique al propietario, al 4 dia, ya que la noche anterior las vi salir del marco de la puerta del dormitorio principal, y su respuesta fue acercarnos un spray para que tubieramos entretenimiento con ellas, y devolvernos 80€ quedandonos 3 noches, 3 personas, con lo que no era suficiente ni para realojarnos en otro sitio. El apartamento estaba sucio, y tuvimos que limpiarlo nada mas llegar. La ubicacion es buena, y si no fuese por la suciedad y las cucarachas, estaria bien. Reclamaremos el importe de las vacaciones, que tenemos un album de fotos y videos mas grande que de la propia isla.

With all due respect we hereby respond to the claims made: We have NEVER had any complaints or problems with cockroaches in this apartment. Neither did the guest inform us of any concerns with the initial cleanliness or prepration of the apartment on the day the day of arrival. Had this been unsatisfactory, we would have certainly resolved this straight away. The guest contacted us about the alleged problem with cockroaches on the 6th day of their 8 day stay, all recorded in the VRBO messaging system. We offered to: A) send someone to check and deal with the issue. No photos or videos were ever provided to us, and there was nor has been any sign corroborating these claims of infestation since. B) provide a discount (out of courtesy only) This was declined by the guest! They also never asked to be moved to another unit. Instead and in fact, they said they wished to remain there, to leave a public comment, and to pursue full refund, as no discount would be sufficient or acceptable for them. While we certainly feel sorry for any inconveince or unsatisfactory experience by any of our guests, and always do our very best to ensure their comfort, in this particular case we shall not accept responsibility for the unsubstantiated claims made.
