Very subjective. The fittings, cutlery and utensils are not cheap. We have some storage space locked. However the guest has access to a large built-in double wardrobe as well as a large 3 drawer dresser and bedside cabinets. We also have a modern fridge with separate freezer. Cooker with hob, microwave. etc. Regarding the noise from Dickens this is the first time we've had any complaints about noise. I think they were in the wrong location. We often stay in the apartment and very seldom hear any sound other than when a goal is scored.

Sorry for the comments on the cleaning. Unfortunately we are unable to verify your comments as we were not notified by the guests. If we had been! we would have had our representative out immediately. Saying that we will look into it. We will inspect all sockets and correct any problems found. The sliding door can at times be difficult to open and will lubricate. Unfortunately we are unable to change the design as it is part of the historic complex. Other than the hubcap and extension I cannot understand the property they claim was left around. Obviously the plastic hubcap shouldn't have been there. We do however leave extensions for the guests, iron, hairdryer, spare light bulbs, tea coffee, extra blanket etc. Also at times unopened frozen food may be left in the freezer

Total inaccurate and unacceptable refute totally. This man was looking for a refund for only minor inconvenience. On the first day the workers were finished before he arrived. There was only 1 morning he couldn't use the terrace. There was a 3 day weekend during his stay.The workers finish at 1400. He was by himself and told me he was golfing during the day. The washing machine is very modern and can leak if very small loads are put in. The leak is very small. The lounge furniture is a modern leather suite. Not very rickety. The terrace is 50 meters from the road and the area is not noisy. There are very strict noise laws which are enforced. Once again this person was looking for a refund and when I didn't meet his asking price told me he would write this review.

We have just received this review and is the same as feedback they sent to us when they returned to the UK. We had emailed Pete about the cleanliness issues and explained that it would have helped if they had contacted us on arrival or shortly after. We would have sent someone in immediately to correct any cleaning issues. These guest had our phone, text, and email contact details. Prior to their holiday they had been in frequent contact with us. In fact they requested a late departure on their final date due to a late flight which we granted without any extra charge. The maintenance issues do require some attention but were not significant regarding the overall condition of the apartment. We provide a modern apartment which has Flat screen TV, free WiFi, complete kitchen with full oven, hob, microwave, fridge, separate freezer, vacuum cleaner, etc, etc. There is also a new washing machine. The apartment has a new leather suite, modern furniture, and has been retiled throughout. I doubt if there is a better equipped or more modern apartment on the complex. The bathroom has a modern corner bath with shower. We accept that the shower does dribble at one of the connections but doesn't inhibit using it. The door to the bathroom does close. The door from the bedroom to the terrace can be difficult at times due to the type of lock fitted but does close properly if operated correctly. If they had any problems they could have contacted us and we could have sorted it. We think this review does not accurately describe our apartment and we do question why they waited until they returned home until contacting us. This made it impossible for us to verify what they have written.

We find this review very detailed and informative. We have just had it translated thus the delay in replying. We have since been in the apartment and have corrected much of what annoyed the guest. The music normally ends at latest2300 and is not very load. The bedroom does have a locked cupboard but has a large wardrobe which has three drawers, large 3 drawer dresser and 2 bedside cabinets which provide plenty of room for clothes and other holiday items. We have had some trouble with the kitchen hinges which we have now corrected. Otherwise everything else works fine. We have just returned from the apartment. Some of the bloody videos were left and will be disposed of. The TV is Spanish which can be changed to English. I do not know how to achieve German TV in Lanzarote. The internet. is very good so maybe we will try on there. The bed has slats as supports. It is a very good Ikea bed and we could not replicate the problem. The mop and bucket should have been stored correctly. Our rep did have a personal emergency which she had to fly out to so this probably contributed to these problems. There are four stools so the one with the tape should not have been necessary to use. Anyway we are disappointed that the guest would choose not to stay with us again and thank her for her input.
