One of the main reasons i booked this property is because it had an elevator but the first thing we found out when we arrived was that the elevator was out of order.
The unit is advertised as having a 'balcony' - which is another reason i chose this property. There is no balcony - the windows open inside like a door (which is nice) but there is a small space outside the window that is not even large enough to stand on, let alone sit on it like a balcony.
We were able to store our luggage prior to check in and were told we would get a phone call when the unit was ready - finally around 3:30pm we still had received no phone call so decided to go back to the apartment and found that it had been cleaned and was ready. We had flown in that morning from an overnight flight and would have really appreciated that phone call telling us the unit was ready but we never got the call.
I made 5 calls to the management office for this unit during our stay - none of them were ever answered.
Issues:
1. the toilet seat was broken
2. there were holes in the walls of the bathroom where a towel rack/warmer used to be (it's in the pictures on this unit, but is not there - only the holes in the wall where it used to be)
3. the electrical plug in the bathroom did not work
4. elevator was inoperable
5. stated there was a balcony but there is not
The best thing about this apartment is the location. Until the elevator is fixed, there should be some notice to potential guests because some people would not be able to climb all the stairs required to reach this apartment.
Overall, we were very disappointed in this apartment.
