We loved our stay in Isabel’s apartment. She greeted us upon arrival and provided great advice on tours, places to eat and things to see on our exciting visit to Porto. We thoroughly enjoyed having breakfast delivered to our door on one morning and utilized the laundry service she suggested. We would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

Isabel a été vraiment très gentille et efficace dans ses informations sur porto . Elle nous a réservé un tour dans le Douro qui a été fantastique . The host was great, accommodating, help us with excursions, transportation to train station when our stay was over.. The apartment is small, but big enough and accessed by stairs. Most everything we needed was available, except cleanx in the bathroom. The location was great, walking distance to most sites.

Overlooking the River

We should have booked a longer stay. Isabel's place was terrific-- spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the pillows excellent. A truly good location but walking to and from will, as most of Porto, require you to navigate hills. We appreciated the workout on our calves but understand not everyone would like such a walk.

This is without a doubt a great place to stay while you're in Portugal! 100% recommended!

Isabel proved to be an exceptional host, taking significant steps to make our stay memorable. The Duoro Valley wine tour and river cruise she organized stood out as a highlight of our trip, adding a special touch to our experience. Additionally, her transportation service from the airport was quite convenient; Andra greeted us with a sign, which made our arrival feel smooth and hassle-free.Her home was not only comfortable but also located in a fantastic spot with beautiful views of the Duoro River. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we particularly enjoyed the excellent water pressure and cozy bed. Communication with Isabel was always pleasant, and the checkout process was straightforward.We also had the pleasure of dining at two wonderful restaurants from her extensive recommendations, and each meal was more enjoyable than the last. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Nothing short of spectacular.

First of all, Isabel met us at the front door, and gave us a detailed introduction to the suite plus at least 20-30 minutes of her time showing us on a tourist map places we may wish to visit/restaurants etc. Location is stellar if you are willing and able to walk the hills and explore Porto on foot. The suite overlooks the river which we enjoyed every much, and is beautifully decorated and clean. We had everything we needed. The bed is very comfortable!

Great location and host

We very much loved our stay in Porto. The host provided personal check in where she gave us map lesson and recommendations for things to do. She also treated us with complimentary port. The room was everything we needed. The view is great, but unfortunately construction outside made it less enjoyable.

Amazing property and host!

The apartment is beautiful and well-appointed. Isabel is a wonderful host. She met us at the apartment and provided tons of information before and during our stay. The location is excellent for walking and enjoying this beautiful historic district. We highly recommend this place.

Perfect in every way!

From before our arrival, our host Isabel made every effort to make our stay in Porto seamless. Upon arrival we were greeted and educated by her on sights and places of interest including her willingness to book excursions for us. The accommodations were immaculate and the location perfect. Luxury in Porto

Beautiful and luxurious apartment with all the touches of a 5 star hotel and the peacefulness of a neighborhood. Isabel was in communication from the moment we booked to when we checked out. Many suggestions of things to do and places to eat. She reserved tours for us which took the stress out of planning. We had the most wonderful driver and tour guide and a lovely breakfast delivered every morning all arranged by Isabel. We were able to walk everywhere. She is an exceptional host and her apartment is a perfect place to stay. It was a dream vacation! When we come back to Porto, we will always stay at Isabel’s lovely home.

Wonderful Property AND Host!

Isabel’s apartment is beautifully decorated and centrally located! I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Porto. The host, Isabel, also went above and beyond - providing us with a list of recommendations (restaurants, cafes, parks, events, etc.), and helping us book a driver to/from the property. You can tell she really loves her city and finds joy in sharing Porto with her guests. We hope to return to Porto, and will absolutely book w/ Isabel again!

Simply Lovely

My husband and I absolutely loved our time in Isabel’s flat. It was beautifully decorated & the river view was perfect. But more than that, Isabel was a wonderful hostess. We communicated for months ahead of our stay, helping me make plans. When we arrived, she sat with us for about an hour giving us outstanding advice of where to go in Porto (marking everything on a map). She even booked the Douro River Valley tour for us. And her restaurant recommendations were amazing. She also arranged breakfast for us that was made by a local woman and was delivered right on time which was delightful. I highly recommend staying in Isabel’s VRBO. You won’t be disappointed.

If you book a stay here, Isabel goes out of her way to provide so many things to do, from restaurants, to tours, to pretty much everything you’ll need for your time in Porto! The location was perfect for us. Check in and check out was smooth. We would definitely stay again!

Amazing Time In Porto

Isabel's apartment was the perfect location for us to explore the city and enjoy the festival of Sao Jao while in Porto. Isabel greeted us upon our arrival. She and her son helped us with our luggage and spent time telling us about all of the recommended sights and activities around the city. The apartment was immaculate and a a perfect location for walking to many of the beautiful sites in the city. We were able to enjoy a view of the river from the apartment also. Isabel was so responsive from the time we booked the apartment until the time we checked out. She provided a lot of information about the city and answered any questions we had. We highly recommend Isabel's apartment and hope to visit again one day.

Isabels Wohnung ist sehr edel, sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Etwas vermisst haben wir genügend Abstellmöglichkeiten im Bad, hier will Isabel aber Abhilfe schaffen. Zum nächsten (kleineren) Supermarkt geht man 1 Minute, zur Bushaltestelle der Linie 500, die zum Bahnhof Bento fährt, und zur Haltestelle der alten Tram Nr. 1 sind es nur 3 Gehminuten. Gute Restaurants sind genügend in der Nähe.

The unit is beautifully decorated & has a wonderful view of the river. Conveniently located. 2 nd floor & around 40 steps to the unit. Host was really nice & gave super suggestions. Dish washer not clothes washing machine.

Home Away From Home

Excellent all around. This apartment and owner would be my template for getting it right, at ALL LEVELS. Ten out of Ten. We chose this VRBO because of the reviews, and they were spot on.
