This was one of the most fully equipped kitchens I've ever seen! The fireplaces are electric/gas and add a touch of coziness to the rooms. There are quite a few stairs though, something to keep in mind if you have limited mobility. But we appreciate it having rooms downstairs that were separate from the living room where we all congregated. I would happily stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay and booked again for next year. We agree with other reviews that the couches in the living room and TV room are very worn and uncomfortable. One of the chairs had large tears in the leather. The seating in the TV room is also uncomfortable and limited. The twin beds are not comfortable and could benefit from a topper. For a house this size there should be a TV in the living room. The kitched cookware is a bit limited, maybe add a couple of saucepans. Spending a little money for some better furniture and adding a TV in the living room would make it a 5-star rental. The patio doors were missing the stationary door latches, and they banged and blew open during the night while it was raining and windy. The blinds in the primary bath did not work. Overall, a decent rental.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For years, we have been renting vacation homes in Cambria, and this is the best one so far. The home is beautiful inside and out. And the kitchen is to die for. You can tell the owners took a lot of pride when building and designing the home. The garage door needs to be serviced because the control panel has a warning come up on the screen whenever it opens. It also has an automatic door close function within 1 minute that I had to turn off since it nearly came down on the rear hatch of my SUV when we were unloading the vehicle. And the 3 TV's in the home were small and outdated. Other than those issues, it was perfect.

Reviewer Comments: This is our second time renting the Ocean Ranch Villa and we did so for an entire week and, honestly, could've stayed another three weeks. It's such a lovely and well appointed house with the most beautiful natural light and vaulted ceilings. Our family has been going to Cambria every year for the past 6 years and hope to return to the Ocean Ranch Villa soon! Unbeatable location and the perfect place for a family.

Perfect location. House is a little tired.

The house was in a perfect location for what we wanted to do. It was clean and well stocked. It could use some refreshing- especially the pillows! The front windows were full of bird poop - impacted the view. Cambria is a cute little place and we loved all the trails and access to the trails from the house.

Beautiful ocean getaway

My family wanted to spend a week together by the ocean. We were a family of 6, including my 6 year old grand daughter. The home is beautifully setup. There are dishes and cooking paraphernalia a-plenty! We had no problem cooking for ourselves and serving meals when we wanted to. We frequent the area of Cambria often and this property's location is perfect to get to the beach or in town for shopping or dinner. There is also several hiking trails that take you along the coast line or in the hills slightly. Being early June, we saw many spouts and fins in the ocean. Not sure if they were dolphins or whales. I even saw one breach! We plan to return to this property again!

Fabulous Place

Rented this home for my 70th Birthday. Family came to visit to help me celebrate. The home was lovely and large to accommodate a little celebration. The kitchen is awesome and plenty of room for those of us who were using it to not bump into each other. The bedrooms very comfortable. Slept well. Plenty of linens and the Kitchen has everything you need and then some. The location is the best. The backyard is the Fiscalini Ranch. Across the street is the ocean. Very lovely views. We had a lot of fun going on Fiscalini ranch walks. Shopping in town and dining was great. I was treated with a glass blowing lesson in nearby Harmony. It was fantastic. It was no problem to reach the Management Co. on the one occassion I did. It was an absolutely wonderful stay in a beautiful home in such a beautiful town.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this home, with the Fiscalini nature preserve on one side and a short distance to the ocean on the other, is spectacular. We love the layout of the home. The kitchen is extremely large. And it can sleep our extended family of 7. Some TLC is needed. The furniture upstairs is worn. Some mattresses need attention, especially on the fold-out, as others have noted. There are small issues: one of the bath drain handles does not work, downstairs sinks need regulators, etc. A basic Adirondack chair or two would make the deck more useful. The rental company was great as always.

Elegant property with sea view

A very large and elegant home in a beautiful neighborhood. Well supplied for any and all needs. Sea views from livingroom and master bedroom. Easy access to Fiscalinni Ranch walking trails. Even saw otter and whale spouts from the cliff trail.

Gorgeous house in an ideal setting

This place is an awesome stay in the wonderful town of Cambria. This very nice neighborhood is quiet with easy access to Fiscalini reserve. Can’t recommend enough for others to stay here. We will be back.

Peaceful getaway

The home was comfortable for our family. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs (one with 2 twin beds) a full bath and a large laundry room. Upstairs-living area, kitchen, a spacious primary suite, den/tv room with its own bathroom and another 1/2 bath outside of the primary bedroom. The views from the living area were beautiful, particularly at sunset. The morning light and views of Fiscalini were wonderful from the breakfast table and rear deck, so peaceful! We enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful Home

This house is fully prepared for families who want to grill and/or cook. Pots, pans and utensils were all provided. We thoroughly enjoyed the place. One tiny suggestion would be to replace the 2 twin beds with a single queen or king bed.

Here are the pros and cons of the property:Pros- Great location - Partial ocean view- Good size for family gathering- Short walk to beach and Fiscalini RanchCons- Smoke detector chirping. Called to replace battery and did not receive a call back. - Dirty windows with bird droppings all over them- Bird droppings all over driveway- Driveway very steep and cars dragged when parking- Tired and dirty furniture- Several of the blinds did not work and could not left/open them- Broken screen - Dirty exterior, including the deck- Hot water did not work on left side sink, in primary bathroom- Twin beds in guest room were credit when sleeping on them

Ocean Ranch Villa

Our stay at Ocean Ranch Villa was great. We had stayed at this particular property twice before COVID and imagine our surprise at all of the work that had been done to the inside! Loved all of the china and pottery. We had a great time in your well-stocked kitchen cooking our meals. We visit Cambria at least once a year and will definitely return to this property.

Beautiful Home with a Beach View

This was the perfect property for 7 adults to spend the weekend in Cambria. The house was perfect for watching the ocean from the front deck & the wildlife from the back deck. Its HUGE kitchen was perfect for the foodies in our group to cook fantastic meals. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out for alone time, watching the game or visiting and also had a large enough dining table for us to all eat & play games together. We were very close to downtown Cambria for all the restaurants & shops. Looking forward to coming back again!

Beautiful locatuon

Excellent location - easy walk to beach trail + lovely views. Clean. Had all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Living space and kitchen were fantastic - Ample space. Beautiful views. The only minor feedback is the small attention to detail and a few upgrades as the inside of the property is a bit tired and dated - furniture, houseware items, tv’s, coffee mugs. Nothing major. Would come back!

Beautiful Oceanview Home

View incredible, but arrangement of bedrooms and bathrooms inconvenient for 3 people. Downstairs queen bedroom very noisy from water pipes being audible when any water being used. Thermostat not functioning due to lack of batteries. Double doors to deck on second floor wide open when we arrived.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve been coming to the same house for several years. This trip was sad to see how the property has declined. One of the dining chairs was unsafe to sit in. The filters upstairs and downstairs for drinking water didn’t work. The water in the sinks downstairs was flood or none. The downstairs was dusty and caused some allergy issues. The furniture in the family room has seen better days. Carpet in master bedroom is dirty. Landscaping has been neglected. There’s more, but I think you get the point. Sad to say, we will not be back to this property. Location and views are nice, it’s just tired.
