Beautiful small House in Algarve, Portugal

Welcome to my beautiful small house in Mexilhoeira Grande. We hope you enjoy your stay! We have personally thought through all of the amenities and hope to provide you with all the comforts of home. The surrounding area has a lot to offer and is sure to make your holiday one of a kind.


As a self-catering house, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.
The small kitchen has a fridge, a hob, a kettle.
The prefect place to relax. Linen and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.

House Rules:
- Check-in time is 2pm and check-out is 11am.
- Smoking is not allowed.
- There are free parking on premises parking facilities available at the property.
- Petsу are allowed at the property with a fee of €30, our you arrived after 00:00 at night. Please call the phone. don't text at night
entrance to the house through the blue garage door. knock or call.
The house is located inside the garden. To get into the house you need to enter through the blue gate, then along the corridor to the green wall. this will be the door to the house.
I love pets and welcome them in my home. Please pay a one-time fee of 25 euros upon entry.

Quirky and artistic apartment with beautiful courtyard

Located in the centre of the village. There's a good grocery shop 2 minutes' walk away for all needs (closed lunchtimes, Sundays and public holidays). Restaurants mostly closed in winter but there's a good little cafe. There's a rail station (Mex. Grande) under 10 mins walk away that may look abandoned but has a schedule along the coastal railway, buy ticket on train with cash only. Infrequent trains so we used the ride share app to get to the coast which was as cheap as 2 going by train/bus. Limited cooking facilities (one ring and no microwave). Good sized bedrooms and good quality beds. Occasional issue with drain smell. Overall a pleasant and memorable stay.

Where do I begin... definitely not a good experience!!

I left right away, stayed in hotel. House was misrepresented. Not large house, but apt, no ocean view, no TV, no 2nd bathroom, not beach front... 20 min away. Heavy musty smell which was unbearable, he said "I have no mold" his word, not mine. Entrance to place was not the front door, but through like a garage which was filled with junk,hoses,stuff. Door to apt was covered in turf, did not lock properly, did not open all the way, he told me don't worry, it's safe here. There's a 2nd apt. in this split house that accesses same corridor, could clearly hear people talking, he told me to ignore the stairs. Bldg next door demolished, my husband called it Bagdad. Owner said I was being negative. I showed him his own listing, he said I was the first guest to complain, then he changed the listings. Not so, other reviewers on sister sites had same complaints. Pictures are somewhat accurate if you consider careful photography. Bathroom had sloped ceiling over toilet, banged my head. Terrible, aweful lighting. Only saw 2 chairs inside, one almost broken. Check his listings on here and air beebee under title "Small Garden and Beautiful Small nice unique house". Not sure what standards other people are used to, but this was an awful experience. He doesn't like Neg comments, read his replies. Terrible experience and his attitude to my comments even more insulting. If you decide to stay, take these into consideration. Definitely not the peaceful oasis I was hoping for.
