Daughters birthday getaway

Property was great, clean and great views. Had issues with accessing the building because the main doors lock and the gate wasn’t working the first night. Called help desk who finally explained condo was on lower level and could only be accessed using elevator from a different building. Took about 40 minutes but finally figured it all out.

Snakes and Mice in The Hedges on the Patio

Unlike any I have experienced before and for many reasons I give only 1 star overall rating. We stayed on the 1st floor. It was Advertised as Ocean Front/Ocean View, and our view was of a big hedge that was overgrown onto our patio. Where we saw many mice run in and out of. On the 3rd day I got the scare of my life when my 10-year-old grandson let out a scream that was flowed by, Snake! On the patio! We got a good look at him before he slithered back into the hedge and believe it was a nonvenomous whip snake but not positive. Not sure who thought it was a good idea to plant large hedges in front of the patio and block the view. I strongly advise removing them! I do realize there's a lot of people using these condos and can expect to see some wear and tear, but the rug on the living room floor and on the patio was so dirty they should have been thrown in the trash long ago and chairs in the living were also very dirty. It looked as if the place had been cleaned good by the cleaning crew. All in all, we did make the most of it and the grandchildren loved the pool. However, I will be calling and asking lots of questions before I book my next vacation.

Everything was good except the rug in the living room was unacceptable. I did not walk on it with bare feet had to put on sock or slippers. It brought the feeling of cleanliness way down. It’s an easy fix. They don’t even have to replace it, just throw it out! because the rest of the place is nice and there’s plenty of room and I love the location to the pool. All you had to do is walk out the door and you were right there Seriously a great place. Please just get rid of the rug.

We absolutely loved the condo. It was very relaxing. We loved having outdoor access right from the condo vs. having to weave through hallways and elevators. We would love to go back!

Convenient Location

Overall the condo is spacious and it is nice to have a bathroom for each bedroom. Being able to walk out to the pool/beach was very nice too. Furnishings in good shape. We have stayed in other condos in Silver Beach Towers over the years and the furnishings were always nice. The biggest negative about this unit was the kitchen. There was never enough ice in the ice maker. No large pot to do a shrimp boil. No non-Stick spatula to cook eggs in the non-Stick pans. Nothing large enough to steam vegetables in the microwave. No large serving bowls to serve in either. Low amount of silverware and serving pieces. There is a Keurig. The rental company responded to questions sent via email and text quickly and it was easy to call their office. Someone always answered the phone which is remarkable!

Beautiful Condo - Step-out Access!

Beautiful condo. We loved it. Criticisms a few (Not deal-breakers, just a bit annoying). Still great place. Water pressure was a bit slow and we ran out of hot water too quickly. Bathroom sinks seemed clogged. Not enough toilet paper or garbage bags were supplied. No dish soap or salt and pepper or coffee filters.

Summer Family Vacation

This property was perfect in almost every way. The only issue we had was the horrible WIFI connection. My profession requires me to work remotely for an hour or so a day. I could not log into my work computer with the connection. The WIFI was also very hit and miss on our phones.

Overall the place was great. The beach and pool were fantastic. Loved being able to just step out on pool deck from our apartment. Everything worked great. WiFi was not good at all. Personally think there should be more than 2 fobs for a three bedroom place. It was hard going to beach with only 2 fobs. Would definitely stay there again.

Great week in Destin

Overall the condo is great - it's on the first floor so you walk right out to the pool. We have kids aged 8 and 11 so it was great to sit on the patio and still see the kids in the pool. The condo is set up well and has everything you need - they provide the start on toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher detergent, etc. so make sure you bring your own depending on the length of stay. We took advantage of some of the perks including 1 free golf round at several courses - they will send you that info once you book the condo and get close to your date. Overall they communicated very well, condo was a perfect set up for our family, and we will definitely plan to rent this unit again in the future!

Great Location & Condo!

This is a great location. The first floor is the place to be. The pool, beach, and ocean can be seen from all the windows. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The condo is quiet. There is very easy access outside (parking lot, Uber pickup) and direct access to the pool and beach. I like that each bedroom has its own bathroom. I would stay here again. A few suggestions for improvement: Consider blackout curtains in the bedrooms as the light from outside can leave bedrooms fairly bright. Consider supplying more than 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, more than 1 trashbag, and dish soap. We had to stop and purchase dish soap, trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels on our way from the airport and it'd be nice to not have to!

One of the best!

I would like to express my appreciation to the property owners for sharing their lovely home with us. Also special thanks to the property managers who answered our questions and took good care of us. We did end up finding not one but two hair dryers, so we left the one you brought us in the middle bedroom drawer. We put the DVD player in the cabinet below the living room TV along with its remote and hdmi cable. This was one of the cleanest and most comfortable properties we have had the privilege of using in Destin. Thank you again so much for your warm hospitality!

Spending time with family

I ran into this property looking for place enough for 9 people and I am glad. It is spacious enough and not feeling crowded. The place is clean. We had to do little bit shopping since there were no salt/pepper/cooking oil/dish soap in the property. Overall, we had great time. The property is on the beach and the mother nature gave us nice weather to spend on the beach.

Pleasant stay, very minor issues

I only had very minor gripes with the property itself. Could use a nice scrub down and maybe replace some stained items inside. Aside from that, the property is very nice. It's in a great location with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Parking is convenient and right near entrance to the unit. Right off the back patio is the pool and then a very short walk right down to the beach. Two pools (only one is heated) and two hot tubs. Neither were overly busy. Beach was kept in nice condition and the chairs and umbrella were set up everyday. Lots of room in the unit to entertain and cook. Doesn't have salt, pepper, coffee filters, etc. Missing a lot of little things that could really push this property over the edge and make It's a perfect place to stay rather than just a nice place. I would consider staying at this property again.

Shannon and I moved from St. Louis, MO to Destin, FL in the Summer of 2011. I have over 20 years in the Property Management field including Vacation Rentals, Multi-Family, and Senior Living. I am also a Realtor with Worth Clark Realty. Shannon is our “go-to guy” and always goes above and beyond. He handles the majority of operations which includes Inspecting and Scheduling Turns, Owners' Statements, Accounting, and helps to oversee our Housekeeping Department. You will find that we are passionate and very hands-on. Not only are we available to our Homeowners at all times, but we are also available to our guests.

God has blessed us with our two children, Riley (18 y/o) and Jax (8 y/o). Our hearts and home are also filled with our fur babies! We support our local animal shelters and rescues. We are thankful for our cat and our dogs (Rocky and Jubilee).

We look forward to our Friday night movies at home with our children, fishing (although we aren't any good at it – haha), church, and Sunday football. We are very family oriented and find that most homeowners become like family to us.

In the Spring of 2016, we expanded our business by hiring Debbie. She is my amazing mom! When it came time to hire someone, it only made sense to bring her on board! You honestly can't find a more caring, loyal, and trustworthy person! Debbie handles all of our reservations and during the summer months, she helps with our inspections. If you ever want to hear a friendly voice and be uplifted, call her!

We can't forget about the rest of our team! EVERY. SINGLE. PERSON. on our team is important to our success. Our goal is to hire folks with passion, enthusiasm, and motivation to win! We want them to know that no detail is too small, and a happy guest is a repeat guest! There is nothing more rewarding than to receive a compliment about how genuine and hard-working we are!
