The house is a somewhat sprawling, quintessential 1800s vermont farmhouse. The interior is spacious, and has everything you need. But...its the property...that was jaw dropping beautiful. the photos do not do it justice....beautiful rolling green hills, fields, a stunning pond, flower beds, a beautiful, old barns, woodsheds, huge mature trees...its all like something out of a novel. It is remote, but not too far from the small "center of town". But if you want to really experience beautiful old-world rural Vermont. This is the way to go!!! sitting on the back porch, enjoying the pond...in one half hour span of time, a humming bird, a blue heron, and a moose all came right on to the property...it was a lovely way to spend time, drinking your coffee!
Also, must mention in particular, the owners of this property were extremely responsive, generous, communicative, kind and helpful. I got answers to questions almost right away. they had helpful advice, and truly love their property and are happy to share the joy of this beautiful space....
