Foxley Cottage is a traditional thatched cottage resting in Charmouth, Dorset and can sleep four guests in two bedrooms.

Amenities: Electric heating with electric fire stove. Electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, hairdryer. TV, Sky, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. On-street non-allocated parking. Enclosed patio with raised beds and furniture and 4 steps up to a small graveled seating area. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 0.2, pub 0.1 miles. Note: Due to the age of the property some sloping ceilings restrict headroom in certain parts of the cottage. Note: There are some steep stairs which may be unsuitable for guests with lower mobility. Please note there is an electric warm air heater in fireplace not a gas stove

Town: Charmouth is an unspoilt seaside village, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with a fantastic beach world renowned for its fossils on the famous Jurassic Coast.

December holiday

As my husband was the one who booked the cottage, the property manager would not communicate with me directly which was difficult because I arrived at the cottage a few days before my husband. When I did arrive at the cottage the heating was set at 14C and took some time to heat up. Having said that, the cottage was spacious, clean and comfortable and had everything there that we needed. The location was great for the village and the beach. It was easy to manage the temperature control and all in all we enjoyed our stay there, and we hope to return.Make sure you duck when going between kitchen and hallway. There is a low arch. Street parking is not always close.
