Excellent location and lots of space
Host Matthew is terrific and very helpful/accessable, sending all relevant info in a timely manner.
I was here for a month and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. This space is large and bright, so much homier than being in a hotel. It felt like I was staying at a friend's home. There is occasional minimal neighbor noise of walking from above but it's rare and usually in the early evening.
It is located on a pretty busy road but there is little evening and early morning traffic. During the day it is still surprisingly quiet if you have the windows/door closed. And there are blackout curtains in the bedroom so it is very dark to sleep in. A nice sized bathroom and shower/tub with plenty of hot water.
The location is terrific being a short walk to Kings Cross/St Pancras, you can easily get anywhere in the city using the underground. I never once felt unsafe in the neighborhood and there are many restaurants and grocery stores in the vicinity. My favorite grocery was the large Waitrose, a 15 minute walk in the Brunswick Center. I saved so much money preparing my own meals as opposed to eating out every meal.
The washer/dryer was a bit of a challenge and you need to use the hanging rack to fully dry items. After the first week I only used it for towels and sheets, taking my items to Kings laundromat on Cromer St as I could get all my clothes done in an hour.
Cable TV with lots of options and excellent Internet connection.
I would definitely look into staying here again my next trip!
