A cosy retreat for small families or couples looking to get away, this cottage is a stone’s throw away from the sandy beach.. All on the Ground Floor:

Incredible sea views and just 60 yards from the beach, this single-level cottage on the seafront at Felixstowe, offers comfortable accommodation for a relaxing break. The bustling town with its shops and restaurants is within easy walking distance. Beach View Cottage is ideally situated to explore all the delights that Suffolk has to offer.

‘Constable Country’, Rendlesham and Tunstall Forests, the market town of Woodbridge, Tide Mill (National Trust), Sutton Hoo’s Anglo Saxon burial site, Orford and Framlingham Castles, Aldeburgh famous for its fresh seafood, fish and chips, Snape Malting concert hall and a visit to the bustling town of Ipswich are not to be missed. Bar and Restaurant within a few minutes walking distance. Beach 60 yards.

Sea View

When it says “ Sea View” it means it . Clear view of the bay all the way to the Port of Felixstowe. Very close ( 100 metres) to the beach but on a quiet campus away from the noisy seaside “ attractions “. It is the old Sanitorium to the now closed Felixstowe College. As such the doors and corridors are wide and the rooms spacious. Each room has a door onto the private patio. The rest of the campus seems to be posh flats . We weren’t disturbed at all and the natives seemed friendly. Dad is 92 with some mobility issues and he very much enjoyed the space in the property where he could use his walker . Currently the shower is over the bath but the owner , who came to greet us and show us around said that there are plans for a walk in shower. Using dads scooter we went all the way to the viewing point at Felixstowe docks without going on the road . We also made it to Old Felixstowe and the Ferry which requires a short diversion in land and might be considered a journey for the more adventurous scooter rider . We booked immediately for next year . I think that says it all!
