Inside, the apartment is fully air-conditioned and comfortably accommodates up to 5 guests. This pool holiday apartment in Mellieħa is just a 15-minute walk from the upper main road with bars, shops, restaurants and bus stops, as well as the lovely Selmun Palace, with a hiking area and the Punic tombs to explore. From the bus stop, guests can also reach Crikkewa Quay from where ferries depart for other stunning islands of the archipelago, namely Gozo and Comino.
For quick refreshment at the sea, a small pebble beach is 10 minutes walk away, meanwhile, the well-known beaches of Malta, Għadira Bay and Golden Bay, are between a 6-10 minute drive from here. It is worth mentioning that Għadira is especially welcoming to families with children in Mellieħa as it has shallow waters for a considerable distance from the seashore. For Robin William’s movie, Popeye’s fans the real-life set is located right here, within a 10-minute drive boasting a singularly picturesque seaside location.
Nature lovers and bird-watching enthusiasts will find the wet marshlands of Malta’s Bird Park are a convenient 10-minute drive. The nearest international airport and the stunning capital of Malta, Valletta, both are about a 35-minute drive from the holiday home in Mellieħa.
