Great house for friends get together

Beautiful house, very clean and well presented, had everything we needed for a group of 7 ladies meeting up for birthday celebrations. A thoroughly enjoyable weekend in a lovely house, would definitely return.

Girls weekend away

This was a superb property for a group on seven 50 somethings to use as our base for a weekend away. The property is gorgeous and very well appointed with all of the facilities you could need. We were extremely impressed with the luxury finish and attention to detail and would have no hesitation in recommending this property. We will definitely be back

Lovely house and area but quite isolated

A beautiful old farmhouse with a lovely large garden in a lovely area. We enjoyed ourselves and the property was very clean and well presented. A minor issue (shower fell apart in one bathroom) was resolved quickly and with no fuss or question. We all felt a few more consumables would have been provided for a property of this size and quality. Many others we have stayed in over the years have provided a few bin bags for example (we were given one spare) and we had to move light bulbs about when one went and there was no spare. The coffee machine was quirky and with no instructions we couldn't work out how to use it. The placemats are mouldy and we recommend replacing them. A bottle of wine or a few flowers wouldn't have gone amiss. We are fair reviewers and not picky - there were just a few things we were a little disappointed with. Overall a beautiful area and property though and we had a great stay despite the minor whinges.
