A quiet night’s sleep! Five minutes Uber ride from the noisier beach resorts of Lagos and Luz in an exclusive neighbourhood with ocean views over Lagos bay, this high value home is tastefully furnished by the owners. It is a class above a holiday villa.

The spacious garden with huge terrace holds a large solar heated pool. Relax and enjoy panoramic views from the hot tub before preparing fresh fish on the BBQ.

A simple drive or Uber to top class bars, restaurants and stunning beaches

Arriving at the villa, you will park behind electric gates. Walk up to the huge terrace and dip your toe into the large swimming pool. Only your toe or you will set off the pool alarm! Before entering the house you will want to marvel at the ocean view. Grab a drink from the outdoor fridge and look across the bay. You will be impressed by the length of the beach you see in front of you. In fact you can see 23 kilometers to the cliffs past Carvoeiro. See if you can spot Jose Mourinho’s house on the cliff at Ferragudo.

Note the large Alfresco dining table protected by a sun sail shade and glass panels. Consider what you will be cooking on the excellent Weber BBQ nearby.

Take a wonder onto the lawn and down to the orchard. Pick a lemon and go into the house. Enjoy the large airy living room and the cool contrast from the outside heat. If a favourite sports event is on, switch on the large curved tv and choose from hundreds of UK and European channels, enjoying the Sonos surround sound.

Consider how you will enjoy your holiday? Will it be the beach and surfing or any of the varied watersports, the wakeboard park, water splash park, zoo or sand castle city. Or some of the many golf courses nearby. Or touring the medieval castles and famous navigation museum at the "end of the world” Decide if you will take a boat trip or a kayak to explore the caves and see dolphins. Will the Orcas be passing following the Tuna west and north? Do you fancy carting at the formula 1 race track, quad biking, horse riding, sky diving, balooning or enjoying the ocean view from the top of the mountain in one of the panoramic restaurants. Will you take a bottle of wine to the cliffs on the west coast and watch the sun set over the horizon? Do you prefer beaches with umbrellas, life guards and beach bars or unspoilt ones to the west at the end of windy dirt tracks. Don't be alarmed to see many people have forgotten their bathing suits! Will you take a free walking tour of Lagos or a clifftop walk on the boardwalk? There is one beach where, at low tide, you can walk into a cave and look up at the sky through a blow hole.

Take your luggage and allocate your bedrooms, all with dedicated bathrooms. If it is very hot, pop on the air conditioning. Otherwise open the patio doors, close the fly screens and let the breeze cool the room. There are not many mosquitoes, but the rooms have infusers on timer switches to protect you.

You will be pleased to have a villa on one level. The bedrooms have patio door access to the pool. Inside the villa there is no more than three steps to navigate. Your children will sleep well knowing they are only one room away from you.

Pop up to the roof terrace and enjoy the three seas view.

Have you been to the supermarket on your way? If not, there is a basic welcome pack. The supermarket is five minutes drive away or you can walk if you feel energetic. Pick up some bread and croissants for breakfast. Dont forget the pasteis de nata!

Read the welcome guide and choose a restaurant. Please book a table as it is a busy time of year. You can take an Uber or drive into town in five minutes. A fun start to the evening is a game of mini golf, or a cocktail on a rooftop bar then wander down the cobbled calçada streets, getting lost whilst browsing the small shops. After a meal you may wish to enjoy another walk around the streets as the night becomes alive with music and chic bars. What live music venues do you fancy?

Once you have stocked the fridge and cupboards, enjoy the kitchen with its nespresso machine, dishwasher and washing machine. Each bedroom has its own designated bathroom and their is plenty of hot water to all shower before getting ready to go out to dinner.

Now its time to put your swimming shorts on and step into the pool. Guess the temperature! Is it over 30 degrees? Finish the day stargazing from the hot tub. connect your phone via bluetooth and enjoy your favourite music. Sleep well - it is a very quiet neighbourhood.

The whole villa is provided to you for your holiday. There are three locked rooms that contain the owner’s personal effects. You have full access to the grounds, terrace and swimming pool, spacious lounge, dining room with a view, kitchen, three bedrooms and three bathrooms. You also have access to the roof terrace. Relax and enjoy this tranquil environment. There is ample parking behind closed gates. The perimeter is pet secure. There is superfast wifi, solar heated pool, hot tub and smart curved tv with sonos sound.

A damage deposit of 1000 euros is required prior to arrival which is returned following the cleaning after departure.

We had wonderful days in the beautiful and spacious house, which offers everything you need. In the summer heat, the pool was fantastic. Everything is very tasteful and functional. You are dependent on the car, but you can get to the most beautiful beaches and places very quickly. The owners were available at all times and were happy to help with tips and hints.

Elena and Rupert’s villa is a jewel! A serene place with the comfort and quietness that invites people to stay home, enjoying the view, the breeze, pool, jacuzzi and gardens, being merry with family and friends. We had great time there, cooking, playing on the pool, chatting the days around, having peaceful nights, serene days and wonderful sunsets. Good memories we built there!

The entire house is very spacious and bright, the large pool, the views, the garden, the tranquility of the area. The possibility of bringing a dog and having a large garden to enjoy. Being able to leave the car inside the property. Also the barbecue area and jacuzzi overlooking Lagos. It's on the outskirts of Lagos but very close to all the beaches and supermarkets. The house has all the necessary kitchen utensils and cleaning products.The very friendly owner left us two bottles of wine, water, and snacks as a gift. They also send you a multi-page document with all the necessary information about the house and what to do, see, and eat in the Algarve—it's wonderful.

Wonderful stay in Rupert and Elena’s home in Lagos. We really enjoyed the house, the pool and the jacuzzi. Rupert and Helen were attentive and very proactive with recommendations.

What a fantastic stay we had!
The most beautiful villa that felt like home from home with everything we needed amazing hosts always responsive and helpful with amazing restaurant recommendations we also loved staying in and cooking on the bbq watching the sunset. The whole holiday was amazing and we will definitely be back very soon

We spent a perfect stay, everything was extraordinary, the house is so beautiful and quiet, close to all amenities and places of inescapable visits. Sehr schönes Haus, grosse Terrassen mit schönen Außenanlagen und Blick über Lagos auf das Meer. Auto ist zwingend. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto bis nach Lagos (Restaurants, Supermärkte). Gute Kommunikation mit Rupert.

Very nice house, large terraces with beautiful outdoor areas and views over Lagos to the sea. Car is mandatory. 10 minutes by car to Lagos (restaurants, supermarkets). Good communication with Rupert.
