Featured in a number of architectural magazines, this villa has one of the most beautiful view in Milos and arguably one of the best in the entire Aegean. Two balconies with direct sunset views with the main one affording a 270 degree view of the entrance to the bay of Adamantas (the second largest natural bay of the Mediterranean sea!) Sunset drinks get a new meaning!

The house itself is a traditional Island “archontiko” lovingly restored and transformed into a modern living space. Original beamed ceilings and a mix of antique furniture and mid 20th c. pieces set the scene for relaxed island living.

Amazing Pláka Villa

We loved the Pláka Villa! Communication couldn’t have been better. Ronen gave us recommendations and ann all our questions promptly. Iro and Emily were so helpful getting us settled in. They had some basic necessities stocked in the kitchen which was so nice. The location is incredible. The views are unparalleled and Pláka is the cutest village with great restaurants, shops and bars just steps away. One thing to note is that 2 of the 3 bedrooms are challenging to access with very steep stairs or ladder. Our young adult kids had no problem but if you’re traveling with someone with physical limitations it could be difficult or even impossible to access. We would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous house in perfect location with wonderful hosts

There were no reviews for the villa when I first contacted the point person, Ronen. However, the location seemed ideal and the photos were jaw dropping. The villa is owned by an extended Greek family. It is every bit as gorgeous as it looks in the photos — and the views are spectacular. Ronen was always very responsive and helpful. Our hostess during our stay, Iro, is Ronen’s mother-in-law and family matriarch. She lives across the steps. Her help and suggestions were invaluable. She was so generous in providing wonderful recommendations, making reservations, and stocking the kitchen with all kinds of yummy food. She even rushed to the airport to bring me a forgotten bag shortly before our flight out. Milos was perfect for our vacation (2 adults and a teen). We visited in late June and, while definitely many tourists around, it wasn’t crowded. The weather was perfect: 80s, breezy, no humidity. Plaka is so charming and restaurants, cafes, shops are all just steps away. We had insanely good seafood at Medusa in Mandrakia (so good we started giggling and returned a second night). We also swam at the Sarakiniko moonscape, visited the ancient catacombs and did a really fun 1/2-day boating trip with Salty Rides. Just go, and, if you do, book this gorgeous house and enjoy Ronen and Iro’s wonderful hospitality.
