At 1985 I first rented the existing old house and started the work as a bar which I named 8 BEAUFORT.
At 1987 I bought the land with the old house and afer renovation of it, I added another part of building at the bar at the ground level at 1994 and at 2002 I made the house on the first floor.
Very soon at the end of 80's decade ,it became the best bar in Milos and well known all over Greece for its location ,the right and good service ,the clean alcohol at drinks and the whole unique atmosphere as well the feeling of an authentic bar from the first entry.
But Except all these,the bar was well known and famous for the good and alternative music you could listen here(rock,jaz,ethnic,pop,electro etc),with DJ 'S who were playing from LP records and CD'S .
All these LP records, CD'S were owned by me and I still own at about 4000 of them.
The story of 8 BEAUFORT BAR lasted for 25 years since 2010 ,last year of beeing as a bar.
The reason for that was because my first and the only son named Gregory came in my life at 2009.
So the end of the bar 8 BEAUFORT at 2010 and the begining of the Residence 8 BEAUFORT at 2011.
Though the bar ended to work at 2010 ,the myth of the 8 BEAUFORT BAR still exists till today and many visitors are still coming to Milos for vacations and they are still looking or asking to find the bar 8 BEAUFORT .
I loved and still love both of them(bar and residence) as beeing one, because here in this place I made dreams,friends ,I discussed with thousands of customers and here at the bar I met my wife Maria the mother of my son Gregory and because the place is a unique location ,quite and lovely place by any meaning(architectural,comfort, privacy,touch feeling) far away from any compare in the island.
