The apartment is right in the front of Paignton. It is a great location for the beach and the town. The apartment is lovely and clean and has everything you need for a great stay. Will definitely start again when we visit the area.

Perfect

Ideal for us 3 adults). Plenty of room, and comfortable sofas and beds. We only ate breakfast in the apartments, but there was plenty of space to cook if you wished to. Close to town and the seafront.

Beautiful apartment & centrally located

We had a lovely week in the Seagulls Rest apartment . The apartment is beautiful appointed and spacious (especially the lounge and main bedroom). It is ideal for the beach and local amenities and we hardly had to use the car which was lovely. There are just a a few details that could be improved to make this apartment even lovelier. 1. there isn't anywhere to hang anything (other than a small coat rack in the hallway) this is especially difficult in the bathroom for towels for 5 as there is only a radiator that cant hang this amount so it meant towels were draped on doors to dry out which isn't good for the doors. 2. the bedroom doors all need hooks or over door hangers again to increase hanging space 3. main bedroom doesn't have a chest of drawers just 2 small bedside tables. The wardrobe is adequate for hanging clothes 4. as the apartment sleeps 5 it is difficult to cook & cater for this number in the kitchen as there is only a 2 burner hob and a small fridge. The fridge door was broken & didn't have any shelves for milk etc which meant that that the food items in the main part of the fridge were very compacted and made it difficult to find items without emptying the fridge each time. This meant we had to eat out a lot which made the overall cost of the stay expensive which is why I have only given it 4 stars for value for money

Seaguls rest

Had a lovely holiday here, the apartment is well situated, very large, very spacious, very clean , but was disappointed about the carpet, it really needs a deep clean , v stained, also the week that we stayed, it was incredibly hot outside which made the apartment absolutely boiling, we had to open all windows to cool it down, it was unbearable , it took 2 days for someone to get back to say they don’t supply fans, although there is ample storage. perhaps ceiling fan lights would be a good option. but honestly its a fantastic location with great parking & we had a wonderful family holiday.
