OWNER RESPONSE: Did flight delays and weather factor into your expectations? It appears your flight started off badly (you complained to us of delays) and continued downhill from there. The five days you were here the weather wasn't very cooperative either. Cancun usually has beautiful weather this time of year, but rain and cooler weather during your visit kept you closer to your room, so I can understand some frustration. You mention "The property overall had its best days decades ago." I'm sure you noticed the condominium is in process of a complete building makeover. It was originally scheduled to be completed by Christmas, but delays outside of our direct control moved this project window forward into this new year. We can only apologize for that and look forward to the completion of the building knowing it will be a great improvement for our guest expectations. You mentioned restaurants (or the lack thereof). You requested restaurant recommendations from our property manager. She tells me she provided you with many options...INCLUDING 3 GREAT RESTAURANTS RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. Why you chose to complain about this and not sample these fine establishments is beyond us and her. You also mentioned consistent issues with the internet. Please know we use the same wifi modem as the one you mention. We didn't experience any connectivity issues during your stay. Both ourselves and our property manager strive hard to give our guests a great experience and OUR PAST REVIEWS have confirmed this. We plan to continue this going forward. From interactions, it appears you were on this vacation under protest and really didn't want to be here. You appear to be an unhappy person. We are truly sorry your expectations weren't met, however, we really don't think anything we could have said or done would have changed things for you or your expectations.
