Absolutely fantastic jungle tours, sailing, horseback riding, scuba diving, and so many more adventurous activities are minutes away.

Villas Marlin is in a quiet area directly behind the exclusive Kukulkan Plaza shopping center, it offers a wide range of businesses such as crafts, boutiques, jewelry stores, perfumeries, pharmacies, excellent restaurants, and a grocery store. The famous Mall La Isla shopping center is just a short walk away, the best shopping mall in the hotel zone, plenty of shops and restaurants for all tastes. Lovely to go for a walk, take pictures, and watch the sunset. You are just a few steps from the bank, restaurants, taxi rank, and the bus stop used by most tourists

Great ocean view from the living room

The location was perfect! Beautiful ocean is front of our condo and the bus stop to downtown was just a feet away. Wi-fi worked perfectly and shower worked fine with hot water. Besides the ocean view, the reason why I chose this place was because there was a laundry machines. It was great to be able to use the dryer before packing. All the rooms were very clean and comfortable. However there was one problem with a room in downstairs, there was quite few insects (big ants looking insects with wings) started to fly around at night and it landed on me while I was sleeping and it kept waking me up, but it didn’t bite or anything like that. Otherwise I strongly recommend this room and the owner Gina was very helpful and made our stay very comfortable. Thank you very much Gina!

Sad how we were never told about the construction

Ok to be fair this is a decent spot when there isn’t hammering 8 hrs a day 6 days a week , the entire building was under repair , they knew this yet didn’t tell us before , so we went and put up with the noise , after we simply asked for a fair portion refund , they denied our request saying it wasn’t there fault yet they knew and could have been decent enough to tell us if we wanted to look for another place , so I’d say this group can’t be trusted to be fair, I’d book elsewhere simply because they think of profit over customer service , and I’ve never give a bad review before and we didn’t try to work things out fairly and respectfully.

Marlin Beach on a budget!

This condo is clean and functional. Both bathrooms are on the main floor so be aware that people in the upstairs bedroom will have to travel down stairs to use the facilities. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioners worked well. These are older condos right on the pretty and well-maintained Marlin Beach. Building maintenance has their hands full upkeeping the exteriors, common areas and pools from the sea air damage. Like in many places, there seems to be a lack of effective plumbing traps and ventilation so sewer smells are present in the bathrooms. We have chosen to stay in this facility twice because of the beach, secure parking, and walkable access to the Soriana grocery store and CDS Dental for dental work. A perfect location for us.

Exactly as advertised

Literally a few steps from the beach and 3 pools. Big shopping mall across the street with a grocery store, pharmacy and souvenir shops. Convenience store right next door.The condo has everything you need to cook your own meals. This is a gated community and feels very safe. Georgina was quick to respond with any questions we had. Definitely recommend.

Excellent Stay

Our family of 4, with adult kids, loved staying here. The place was in a perfect location and had all the amenities we needed. Steps from the beach and next door to the shopping center with a great grocery store so we could make meals and eat in/on the beach. Best tacos and ceviche at Tia Juana Tacos, across the street. Gina, the host was quick to reply to every need. Thank you!

Property is very comfortable and pleasantly decorated. Host was very good with leaving instructions. Condominium complex is a little older and quirky, but security at the complex is terrific and they keep the property very clean. The living room has a beautiful view of the ocean, even with the roof top of the lower property. The only thing to be aware of is that one bedroom is on the upper level while the second bedroom , which is very spacious is on the second level, and both bathrooms were on the 1st level. This condo also has lots of storage space. Would definitely rent this property again.

No dishwasher. No oven (to cook a frozen pizza, use the microwave). Nice view and ocean sounds from the 2-person balcony.

Great Location

The property is in a great location, right off the beach and behind a Huge mall where you can buy groceries. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were nice but I wish the kitchen was more equipped, but this is a new listing so I’m sure it will get better. The host had great communication and stayed in constant communication throughout our stay. The community had three pools and a bar that served pretty good food at a good price. The security was always present and we felt safe in the location. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Over all we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Amazing location

This condo is right on the water with 3 pools to enjoy. The beach was beautiful and there were many restaurants within walking distance. The layout is a bit strange with 2 bathrooms on the first level and the kitchen and a bedroom upstairs. The fans did not work. It is very comfortable.

Friendly staff and comfortable condo

The condo was nicely located in a quieter area of the Hotel Zone and was a great foundation for our activities. The property has three pool areas and a gorgeous beach out front. One of the pools has a little snack bar/liquor bar, which was handy. And the staff was very friendly and attentive and we really appreciated each and every one that worked there. The condo itself is nicely furnished and the bed we used on the 2nd floor was very comfortable. The kitchen is pretty well equipped (except for coffee filters; we left ours for the next guess, as we had to search for some in the area stores). The host thoughtfully left us a bottle of wine, which was a nice touch. There was no wine opener, but we provided feedback about that, so hopefully there will be one very soon. One word of caution: You can see the ocean from the deck, but the view of the beach is mostly obstructed by the roof of the condo in front of the unit. It was still enjoyable to sit out there and watch the waves, though.
