Exceptional Italian countryside retreat!

This was our second time staying at the property and we had a wonderful stay once again. The property is beautifully located and the house is fully equipped with everything you may need during your stay. We look forward to returning! Thank you!

Lovely retreat to quiet place with stunning view

My kids loved the pool and the wifi. We spent hours reading, relaxing, playing games and drinking wine. We went for simple cooking, but the kitchen is more than fully equiped with oven and a super fridge/freezer (ice cubes!). And then the view... the view... We love visiting different places, but are likely to come back. Note: when we went for a bite with a local restaurant (5 mins away by car) we only could pay by card, which wasn't possible. No problem! Pay later! Love it...

heerlijk rustig in een prachtige omgeving

Authentieke woning met alle comfort. Het huis heeft zijn naam niet gestolen. De omgeving is adembenemend mooi. Ideaal voor een rustige vakantie waarin je niet te veel uitstappen plant, omdat de afstand naar bezienswaardigheden soms wel oploopt.

Magnifique

Magnifique séjour dans cette maison typique de l'Umbria. Le paysage est à couper le souffle, la piscine est top et les équipements mis à disposition sont de grande qualité. Je vous recommande ce lieu les yeux fermés.

Tranquil summer family vacation

We spent 2 weeks with 4 adults and 4 children at the place and we really enjoyed our stay! The house is well furnished with all amenities in place - especially the kitchen is very thoroughly equipped (quite unlike several other places in Italy we stayed at). The outside area offers sufficient shade during hot summer days. The village is quite remotely situated (15min to the next smaller town with supermarket via a twisting road) - perfect if you like a tranquil vacation with kids for example. Two minor points: the pool cover was broken - so it had to remain open during evenings/nights - you have to watch your smaller kids quite carefully. Secondly, the internet coverage is quite spotty - enough for the occasional check of emails but definitely not sufficient for prolonged video conferences. All in all a great place and would recommend it to any family seeking a relaxed, tranquil place!

Très belle maison bien équipée - belle vue - terrasse abritée agréable

La maison est particulièrement bien équipée (lave linge- sèche linge - lave vaisselle et cuisine au top avec un frigo américain et un très beau piano de cuisson). Rien ne manque. La terrasse aménagée, ombragée est un vrai plus juste à côté de la tres belle piscine. Nous avons passé 2 semaines très agréables.

Superb situation, stress-free stay

Two couples of professionals looking for a quiet and comfortable stay in a scenic environment, we found exactly the rest we wanted. The house offers a beautiful view, surrounded with nature and secluded but accessible enough. It has every amenity one can look for, in particular several pleasant outside terraces, a very well-equipped kitchen, an outside grill and wifi everywhere. The many day trip options include Cita di Castello, Gubbio, Perugia and Assisi. Grocery shopping is convenient in Umbertide. We also enjoyed the silence and dark sky at night a lot -they’re just unbelievable! We will be back.

Simply perfect!

Higly recommended for those who want to live some days in total calm and quietness. Nature, silence, sun, flowers, trees, large pool, all possible commodities, privacy without isolation. Just one suggestion: adding a small sound reproduction system for people who like listening to great music. This is the right place!

A beautiful little house in a gorgeous setting.

The house is a beautiful restored caretakers house located in the hills of Umbria. It's quiet and peaceful but only 10 or 15 minutes to a couple of charming little towns with all the services. Multiple outdoor sitting and eating areas let us take advantage of the spring weather. Not warm enough to swim when we were there, although there is a pool. Our only concern would be that the house has a steep staircase to the second floor, so probably not a good idea for very young children or those who can't get up and down so easily. Over-all we loved the house the property and Umbria.
