Best part of VRBO as a host? Meeting great people like you, Janet and Danessa. i am really happy you to took advantage of the free CATA transportation. I wish more people did,with gas prices and patking it is the deal of the century! I am also pleased you used the well equipped kitchen, not that itv is not nice to dine out- it is, but sometimes it is also nice just to relax and dine on the deck. John is pretty humble, but not when it comes to his bars. Is that so bad? He will be pleased you enjoyed them!. I look forward to seeing you again soon!

We try to host the way we would like to stay, and like to cook at home - full kitchens with the basics you don’t want to travel with and comfy down couches are high on the list! One of the best parts of hosting is meeting exceptional people! We were blessed when we rented to the Burns. They got tight in enjoying meals on the deck, golf, and beach- beach- beach! The perfect way to vacation. Glad you found the place cozy, we strive for cozy and comfy! Hope to see you again.

I guess I should have a pro take pictures, it is hard to capture the place with my iPhone. At around 1, 000 sq feet it is bigger than some houses I have looked at. Salem is a nice jaunt many people don't think of but as we are so close to the train it is an easy trip, Boston day trips are fun too. Next time? Happy Anniversary! We hope you come back and are happy you enjoyed Plum Cove, it is not big but great for sunsets and sea glass. Perfect for a quick walk Thanks again for the treats!

So glad you had a good time and were able to stay another day. We love Crane's too, having visited beaches all over the world it is still one of my favorite. We hope guests enjoy our cottage as much as we do, and strive for a five star experience. Best way to know how to improve is from guests, so please let us know when you have a minute. The large bedroom does have sloped ceilings which for us is just fine (and we are both tall), I was raised in an antique house so sloped ceilings and squeaky floors are charming to me. We try to make sure they are evident in the pictures. For those who prefer not to be close to the slope we installed sliders so it is easily moved. I prefer the space open... but to each his own! I always enjoy the personal touches people put on the place decorating!
