We had a wonderful week in London and this little flat was perfect for us. The bed was very comfortable which is always a big plus.The location is very convenient and close to the Tower Hill Underground station so the rest of London is easily accessible. If you don’t mind walking, the Spitalfields markets are less than a mile up the street along with a bunch of East End restaurants. It’s a fun area to explore.The flat is near the train tracks so you will hear some noise. We live in the country and we’re not used to city noise. The trains actually sounded like distant thunder. We weren’t bothered by it at all but take note if you are noise sensitive. The owner Eric was great communicated with us and the flat had everything we needed. We would not hesitate to return.

Host was very accomodating. Clean and well furnished apt with great location. Only a 5-10 minute walk to grocery, pharmacy, and pub. Easy access to Tower Hill tube station.

Eric was very responsive and great to work with. His apartment is in a great spot, close to transportation. It was the perfect size for two people traveling. The white noise machine and fan were excellent for helping with jet lag.

Enjoyed our stay- feels like a cozy city stay. Great location, great neighborhoods within 10 minutes. Would go back again.

Wonderful

We really enjoyed our stay. The flat is cozy but comfortable, and it’s within walking distance of a number of transit stops. It worked perfectly for our needs, and we’d definitely stay there again!

The flat was perfect for the two of us. Located close to a couple of grocery stores and coffee shops. We walked to the Tower of London and piers for boat tours and river Uber. Also the Hop on/off bus was near by and a great way to tour the city. Our host was very helpful and easy to reach

Our apartment in London was just what we were looking for, Eric was an exceptional host, with clear, quick, and helpful communication.The pictures on the listing are exactly what you get. Eric stocks it with everything you'll need - linens, towels, cutlery, etc. There's train tracks across the street, but we're sound sleepers and Eric provides ear plugs. By day two it was just background noise in a major world capital. But, let me talk about the great neighborhood its located in!10 min walk to the Tower of London/Tower Bridge, 8 mins to Tower Hill Underground station (and bus across the street), and Aldgate and Aldgate East up the road. We got to Wembley, Richmond, and Covent Garden without any major transfers or having to walk to another station.Food options galore, all within 5-10 mins, Spots for takeout, dining in (we liked Urban Pizza), and two markets with prepared meals, produce, and other ingredients if you want to use Eric's kitchen. Also, some great pubs nearby - Brown Bear had a friendly staff and good Thai food. The Artful Dodger was a great spot to listen to friends argue over their football club's prospects this season while sipping on a nightcap, and the wings and pizza at Sir Sydney Smith's hit the spot after a long day of being tourists. I'm running out of room, but this was a great home base for us for our first trip to London, and highly reccomend it. Thanks Eric for the hospitality!

Great place on the East end

The flat was lovely and well located to transportation and within walking distance to markets and restaurants. Very clean and well layed out. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit!

Our stay in Eric’s flat was beyond our expectations. The apartment is a perfect size for a couple and well appointed by the host. The bed is comfortable and the AC worked well, especially during periods of unusual heat in London as was the case during our holiday. The location is also excellent with its proximity to Tube stations. We highly recommend the apartment.

This cute apartment is great for visiting London. It is close to the tube, lots of places to eat, and maaybe best of all for us Canadians, Tim Horton's coffee in the cupboard. Eric was very helpful and helped us navigate with ease our first encounter with city transportation, which incidentally is amazingly easy.

Great apartment.

This apartment is just as advertised, and I would highly recommend it. Location is off the tourists’ beaten path (which I prefer) but very convenient to the Tube and several areas of interest within easy walking distance. Communication with host was great. Many pubs and grocery stores nearby. I’d stay there again.

Perfect location

We loved the location of this apartment. So close to Tower Hill subway station. We even were able to watch Netflix as guests in the evening. We cooked dinner every night. Only thing we missed were pot holders for getting things out of the oven.we would stay here again.
