Perfect!

We had an amazing stay in this villa. Everything was spotless, modern and beautiful. The garden and pool were great for lazy days relaxing. The host Evina was so helpful with suggestions for beaches and restaurants. She even made bookings for us and contacted us most days to ask if we needed anything. We hired a car which I would say is a must. Lovely local taverna 10 minutes walk away. Would recommend without hesitation

Wonderful place

What amazing modern property. It was very clean on arrival which we all know is very important. Fantastic private setting with loads of seating around the large pool. Its great to have the pool & BBQ cleaned each morning. The guy arrives early so you dont see him. The cleaners arrived mid stay to change the bedding and clean. Evina was a great host. Fast wifi. We would highly recommend and we have booked again for this October.

Thank you!

First of all, the house is very nice and quiet (except if you have loud neighbors ;-). We were a family of 4 people and had a lot of space. there's a safe in every bedroom. the house is very well equipped. You will find, everything you need to wash the dishes and clothes. Also butter, cheese, wine, oil, café etc... We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house to friends and family. Evina is a very nice host ! She was very helpful and gave us good advice. And some present before going back home ( thanks again). For cat lovers, this place is paradise 🥰 if you want to visit the island you need a car. We couldn't find a better place to spend our holiday!

Great relaxing holidays in this very nice villa

We very quickly felt at home in this great villa. We did experience a very nice & warm welcome by Evina with the famous and very delicious Orange cake and "Survival Kit" in the fridge for the first 24 hours. (Milk, Toast, butter, honey, cheese and ham. The house is in excellent shape and the team (Evina, cleaning lady & gardener) did an excellent job in keeping it nice and clean. Over the time we could enjoy fruits and vegetables from the garden - thank you very much! We liked the private atmosphere, the advices for local places, the Nespresso coffee machine and everything around that made us feel welcome in this house. Well done and thank you for everything.

Everything Excellent

We (2 adults and two teenager) were lucky to get the opportunity to spend 2 weeks ( June-July 2018) in this beautiful villa. Everything was perfect, starting with the welcome cake at our arrival date and a filled fridge with everything you need to „survive“ the first 24 hours. Following perfect cleaning and pool service (over the whole periode) by the friendly staff and excellent support by Evina our contact person. Since reality is even better than the pictures we will definitely come back to stay once again in this house. Really amazing and an excellent choice. In addition the location in the center of the island is very concenient to discover many places Evina, once again thanks a lot !,,

Perfekt!

A beautiful modern property, couldn’t ask for more!

Evina was so welcoming, it was a home away from home. We arrived to a freshly backed cake and the villa was immaculate, the decor was beautiful and it had everything we could have asked for! Like paradise! Still thinking about what a great time we had, the pictures don’t do it justice and the views are amazing, we didn’t want to leave! Thank you so much!

very nice, modern and calm - perfect for relaxing in a nice surrounding

Vilania Villa on Crete was the perfect location for a relaxing holiday! The hosts were friendly, helpful and very obliging. As we arrived a freshly made cake was waiting for us, beside some Greek Raki, home-made wine and fresh fruits. We got some text messages with recommendations during our stay and as we had to leave, we even got some country-specific gifts. The best care we ever had from any hosts! Every early morning a gardener came to clean the pool and to tidy up the BBQ-area oft he garden. He was very quiet, we didn’t notice his appearance. During our one week stay, even a cleaner came to clean the house, to change the towels and to change the linings. The Villa itself had a very modern and straight style, what we prefer instead of the typical mediterranean style. We loved it. The kitchen was fully equipped, everything was clean and tidy. Every sleeping room had its own washroom/bath and SAT-TV and all rooms/windows were protected by fly screens. The surrounding was great for relaxing: no noise, no traffic, a nice view towards the sea on the pool side and towards Crete’s highest mountain backyards. We absolutely recommend a stay there.

Stunning villa with a relaxing location. 5 Star!

Amazing stay. The villa is perfect and exactly like the pictures. The owners were very hospitable. There was fresh fruit, wine, raki and essentials to make sandwiches on arrival. We travelled with a 5 year old and 8 year old. They had hours of fun in the pool. The villa was cleaned every 3 days and the pool man and gardener came every day. Evina was very helpful with booking restaurants and giving advice on local beaches etc. The Taverna that is 5 mins away cooks the best lamb ribs, ever. We were a 10min drive to a beautiful beach. Perfect is the only way to describe our holiday and we are missing our stay at Vilana. Hope to come back again soon.

The property was stunning, spacious, luxurious, clean, well-equipped, light and cosy!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this villa as well as exploring beautiful, rugged Crete. The children loved the pool-even at the beginning of April! This villa was in a perfect situation for exploring Crete and we would recommend it highly to anyone who enjoyed stunning beaches, walks and relaxation. The owners were extremely helpful offering advice when asked -especially regarding fantastic restaurants-all with a very warm and friendly welcome.

Lovely villa and wonderful service

We loved staying at Vilana. The villa was great, very well fitted out, modern and well designed, it had warm and big pool, with fab views from the mountains to the sea. But what made it really special was the wonderful service. Being met late at night, the lovely cake (which my kids our now obsessed with), the vegetables from the garden, the fresh eggs and general helpfulness all made for a memorable time. Evina is a star. This is a real gem and would highly recommend - in fact we've already passed details on to friends.

This is a really wonderful place: a wonderful house with a nice swimming pool, very nice rooms, a nice kitchen and a wonderful view. We really loved the place. And the hospitality of the house owners is something we've never experienced before: just amazing. To rent this house is more than highly recommendable..

Wonderful stay @Villa Vilana near Rethymno

We spent one week at villa vilana, arrived on July 2nd, 2016. The way to the villa is not easy to find for the first time, however GPS helps a bit. We got a very warm welcome by the owners incl. nice gifts (e.g. cake, food, water, raki, bread) which was very much appreciated since we arrived pretty late and shops were closed already. The villa is just beautiful which is also true for the garden around it. Fresh herbs and fresh fruits/vegetables are available. The service provided by the staff for cleaning, pool and garden is very good. Evina also helped regarding local things to do (e.g. restaurants, beaches). Thanks for making this a memorable holiday. Bottom line: highly recommended

Fabulous holiday in the countryside of Rethymno

We stayed for 2 weeks in this exceptional place (family with 2 children). Exceptional view over the sea and Rethymno up to the white mountains. The villa is exactly as shown on the pictures. High quality furniture in and outside, beautiful design and high quality materials are used. The villa was cleaned every third day and the swimming pool area every day. Even the barbecue place was cleaned every day. Very friendly cleaning personal! We arrived at 11pm in Stavromenos. A very friendly person waited for us and drove together with us to the villa (10 minutes drive through the mountain side). Cheese, bread, ham, water and a bottle of raki were offered. Fragkiskos (the owner) dropped in for three times during our stay in order to advice us on nice places to visit, beaches and best restaurants in an around Rethymno. Supermarkets with a butcher and a bakery are at a 10 minutes drive in Stavromenos. A very lovely traditional restaurant is at a 5 minutes drive in Skouloufia (this is a must). I would absolutely recommend this place to every family who wants to stay in the countryside of Creta, still having an easy access to Rethymno and the surrounding beaches. We will definitely come back!
