Anthoula's House in Rethymno Old City
Anthoula's home is laid out on 3 floors. On the ground floor you enter in a nice decorated hall from where the stairs drives you to the first floor. There is an utility room with a washing machine, and shelf storage.
On the first floor of the house, which is decorated based on the "olive" colours, you will find the two confident bedrooms with one double bed each one and space enough for your clothes and luggage. In the modern bathroom there is a shower. Freshen up with the complimentary natural local toiletries, while the air conditioning ensures comfort at all times. On your arrival there will be a welcome packet for you including local tastes and smells from Crete.
On the top floor you will find the spacious roof terrace with sun loungers and a lounge from where you can view the amazing historic old town of Rethymno.
Air-condition is available for free in all rooms.

-Unfortunately, there is no infrastructure to accommodate the needs of people with limited mobility and wheelchair users, as there is no elevator for the upper floors.

The apartment is located in the heart of the old town of Rethymno, steps away from the city's most well-known restaurants, ATM machines, liquor stores, pharmacies, boutiques, shoe stores, cafés and bars and within walking distance of the imposing Fortezza Fortress and the magnificent Venetian Harbour.
The old town of Rethymnon is one of the best-preserved towns of the Renaissance. Lying in the heart of modern Rethymnon, it combines the oriental features of the Turkish period with Renaissance-style Venetian architecture.
After the Venetian conquest of Crete (1204), the town of Rethymnon was built according to the rules of Venetian architecture. Today the old town of Rethymnon is a living museum of monuments of past centuries. Despite the damage sustained in the Second World War, many Venetian and Turkish monuments still stand, especially as the town has not been struck by major earthquakes.
