Perfect home close to Ponta do sol

Very comfortable home, loved the decor and the pool was great after a day of hiking! Would recommend it for sure. Only that could be improved is air conditioning. We visited the island in a heat wave and air conditioning would certainly have helped. The Property Manager was quick at providing us with fans to help with the warm evenings!

Dear Julie, thank you very much for your comments, which we will certainly take into consideration where possible. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Villa Dia Dourado and we also thank you for your recommendation. We wish you and your family all the best end we send our best regards, Monique Hello Julie, just to let you know that we followed your recommendation and that, though the installation was not easy, we have aircon - heating now in all of the bedrooms and this since April. And though we didn't really have the heath waves like we had in 2023, guests have enjoyed the fact that they had aircon for the hotter nights. So thank you for the recommendation once again. We wish you all the best, Monique PM for Villa Dia Dourado

Luxury on the Island!

My family and I rented this villa for a full week, and we could not have asked for a better stay. 1- The villa is one of the cleanest we’ve had in our time renting vacation homes. The kitchen is equipped with anything you could need, which was fantastic for us as we love to cook. Each room is provided with plenty of towels, and the A/C in each room is extremely effective. As soon as you turn it on, your room is cold within 5 minutes. We loved the balconies attached to the rooms, the spacious luxury bathrooms and massive closets. Usually there are some rooms in houses that aren’t as good as others, but in this house, all of them felt like primary suites. 2- We loved the outdoor space - we opened all the doors during the day and spent our time swimming in the heated infinity pool, tanning on lounge chairs, eating outside, and admiring the view. There is not much traffic passing by the house so you don’t hear many cars. 3- Monique was so incredible helpful, from our arrival to departure she helped us with anything we needed. She prepared a welcome basket when we arrived, brought us a full knife set when we shared we’d be cooking a lot, and gifted us some fresh mangoes at our arrival and departure. She helped us organize taxis when we were in a pickle with our rental car, provided us with many recommendations for restaurants, groceries, activities, hikes, etc., around the island, and was very responsive. We couldn’t recommend it more highly! We’ll definitely be back.

Dear Gabriele and family, it was very pleasant to see how you, as a family, enjoyed your stay at Villa Dia Dourado. It was clear to me that during this, as I understood, annual family moment, you wanted to do as much as possible together. Exploring the island, sometimes in a little more adventurous way, cooking together, all expressions of the emphasis on ‘together’. Moreover, that you enjoyed the Villa as your accommodation, we can only be delighted and where we can help to improve the ‘good feeling’, we are happy to do so. It was very pleasant to welcome you as our guests and if you want to visit us again, we already say ‘warmly welcome back!’ Wishing you all aal the best and we are sending you warm regards, Monique
