Casa da Vargem I, is set in a plot of two properties, located in the warm and sunny municipality of Ponta do Sol, in a privileged area with excellent sun exposure and sea views. The property has large green areas surrounding the properties, as well as a beautiful organic vegetable garden tended by D. Fátima, who takes care of the large variety of aromatic herbs available.
To complete the good outdoor spaces, the property has a wonderful shared pool with infinity ocean views and a hot tub where you can take your anti-stress bath in comfort.
Inside, the decoration combines with the modern architectural features that stand out through simplicity and good taste. The house has two bedrooms with double bed; bathroom; and a fully equipped kitchen. The maximum capacity is 4 guests
The house has a parking lot.
Baby amenities can be provided at an extra cost. Please contact us for more information.
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA
The house is located in the southwestern part of the island, in the municipality of Ponta do Sol. Nearby you will find a small grocery store where you can do some shopping. The house is 6 minutes away from the center of Ponta do Sol. Here you will find several restaurants, coffee shops and a few stores. In the municipality of Ribeira Brava, which is a 10-minute drive from the property, you will find supermarkets and some local shops.
The airport is 40 minutes away by car and the city of Funchal 20 minutes away.
TRANSPORT
The best option to get to the property is by transfer. Ask us to arrange one with our local partners. It's cheaper than the cabs you'll find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app will easily find the address.
GUESTS ACCESS
Guests have access to all areas of the apartment.
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
We are always available to help or answer any questions. Please contact us via cell phone numbers or email. We will do our best to accommodate all requests.
OTHER REMARKS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid identification document (e.g. passport, identity card).
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If not booked within a maximum of 48 hours, guests will be subject to our staff's availability.
- All bed linens and towels are provided. We can also place a crib, high chair, and baby bathtub if needed. There is a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and fire blanket at all properties.
ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Ponta do Sol. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.
