Our host, Margrit, was so kind and understanding when I had a mixup over the reservation. Incredible location, a quick walk from the train station, and very, very charming home. Loved it!!!

Wonderful Stay in the Center of Zermatt

The apartment is charming with a lot of natural light and a wonderful view of the Matterhorn. It has a great location in the center of town. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need on holiday. We can’t wait to come back!

Comfortable and great location

We stayed here for a week. The place was so clean and the kitchen had everything we needed which was so helpful. A lovely view of the Matterhorn from the living room. We were two couples staying here so would have preferred two double beds but that isn’t the fault of the owner and could put the twin beds together if wanted. There was lots of condiments left from previous guests so probably worth checking what they have before going to the shop. Super warm in the flat - we switched our bedroom radiators off which worked best for us. WiFi worked well. Really clear instructions for checking in and responsive host. I made sure I checked they had a fondue set before our stay which they did and it was really fun to do! A great location away from busy main streets but not far from everything either. I really love the pillows but two of our groups said they would have preferred some additional pillows. If I was being really picky they only providers one additional orange bag for waste (you have to dispose in this bag type); we checked at the local supermarket but they didn’t seem to have them and only found out on the last day that you have to specifically ask for bags at the counter of the supermarket. Thanks for a great stay - it really is a lovely place!

Ein schöner Urlaub

Wir waren zum Skifahren in Zermatt. Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und hat uns den Urlaub versüsst. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Zentrale Lage, saubere, top ausgestattete Wohnung

Die Wohnung ist im 2. OG gelegen, von wo aus man das Matterhorn sieht. Die Küche ist top ausgestattet. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und wohnlich. Die Vermieterin sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Very good location and very clean!

We stayed 2 weeks in the House Zer Metzg and enjoyed it very much. The apartment is located 1 minute from the church and the village center with ski buses and shopping within a short walk. Everything is working in the apartment and in the kitchen we did not miss anything. Owners are very friendly and keen to help and checked with us twice if everything was all right. We loved this apartment and its highly recommended.

Gemütliches Urlaubsnest in zentraler Lage

In der bestens ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung mit direkten Blick auf´s Matterhorn haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Vermieterin war zur Klärung etwaiger Fragen jederzeit erreichbar. Der Ortskern mit 2 großen Supermärkten und weiteren Einkausmöglichkeiten sowie diversen Restaurants ist in 1 Minute fussläufig zu erreichen. Der schöne Sonnenbalkon vor dem Wohnzimmer lädt zur nachmittäglichen Pause nach den Wanderungen ein. Wir haben hier eine wunderschöne Urlaubswoche verbracht und würden diese Wohnung jederzeit wieder als Unterkunft wählen. Heike & Olaf Vogelbusch

Super super apartment that's extremely well located!

The apartment is very well located in the centre of Zermatt - close to bars and restaurants etc, but being just off the Main Street it offers enough peace and quiet to not keep you awake at night. Located on the 2nd floor but the stairs up are easy ( even after a long day of hiking!) and the communal areas very clean and fresh smelling. It's not far from the cable cars ( easy walking distance) as well as being within easy walking distance of the main rail station also. The apartment has 2 balconies - one of which is usually in the sun. Also means easy to dry any damp/wet clothes etc. The apartment offers more than enough space. There were 3 of us in our party and we had ample room. The apartment is very well equipped - with just about everything a budding chef could want. If I had to be picky, I would say that a kettle would be the only thing missing - but that because I'm British and need my morning tea! We easily managed with a pan, but there are coffee machines to heat water if wanted. Beds are so comfy - we all remarked on how well we'd slept. The shower is super - we were dubious at first as only a small shower head, but it was extremely good. Handy seat in the shower cubicle if your legs have had a hard day too! We felt the apartment skimped on nothing. Fixtures and furniture was quality and the lovely lady that owns it rang us twice to make sure all was ok. Would I go back ? Yes most definitely! Would I recommend to others? Yes I would without doubt - as all in all, this is a superbly located apartment, that's reasonably priced for what's included. We all loved it!
