Overlooking the pretty resident’s garden, with views of the mountains beyond, the terrace provides the perfect spot for alfresco dining or simply relaxing with a book. The communal garden provides guests with shared BBQ facilities, a swing and a ping-pong table.

Collina d\'Oro (Golden Hill) Lugano, is nestled between the beautiful glacial Lake Lugano and the foothills of the Alps. Situated near the borders of Switzerland and Italy, between Lakes Maggiore and Como, Lugano has a rich cultural heritage.

A day trip on the Lake, sailing between Switzerland and Italy is a must, as is an aperitivo in the city’s main square and historic centre, Piazza della Riforma. The lakeside, with its famous promenade, Parco Ciani (considered one of the most beautiful parks in Switzerland) and Swissminiatur, Switzerland\'s largest open-air miniature museum are all approximately within a 15-minute drive.

For art lovers, MASI (the Museum of Art Of Italian Switzerland) hosts regular exhibitions and for literature fans, Montagnola, home to the museum dedicated to Nobel Prize-winning author Hermann Hesse is an 8-minute walk away.
