Beautiful house
The house needs updating.The pool area shower, kitchen & bathroom plugs all blocked up on our second day, & it took villaplus 5 days to respond (The day before we checked out) Not being able to use the pool kitchen put a huge dampner on our holiday. Especially when the house kitchen oven door wouldn’t close properly, so we had to stand and hold it shut. Also, the indoor dishwasher flies open when finished each cycle. This would seriously harm any children nearby when it happens. They need a bigger freezer too. Only one small freezer above the inside fridge isn’t enough for that size of house. It could really do with one in the pool kitchen. The pool table is not where it says in the photos. It’s down in the front garden, and the cover gets soaked by the sprinklers each night. We used it once. That was a real shame too, as we wanted to all sit around the outside patio at night and play pool. We wouldn’t venture up into the far corner of the front garden at night, as the chairs were old and there were more mosquitos there. But the house is beautiful. Good mattresses, bed linen, towels, comfy sofas. We wanted somewhere that had enough space for 10 people to join in, or retreat somewhere & relax, and the house provides that. Thank you to the gentleman who arrived as we were clearing out, and allowed us to leave our suitcases outside for an extra two hours, that was a godsend. If this house gets the updates it needs, it will be one of the most beautiful houses in Xabia.
